Ittybitty's BERG

Looking pretty good there IB. I like the looks of that new chassis. Sweet. Seems those tires are working pretty well at the new weight. Nice videos. Sorry I wasn't able to make it. Was it as crowded as usual down there?

I think I forgot to mention it the other day, but I sent my cases off to CREEPERBOB to have him mill down the motor plates. He turned them around the very next day so I sent them, he milled them, and I got them back all in the same week "thumbsup"

I also got my battery mount from ROWDY RACING and threw it on. I was always a big fan of the T1E skid plate that incorporated the battery tray so it was hard to make the switch, but after swapping to the newer chassis and having so much "suck" and the raised belly the old style skid just wouldn't work anymore since it would bottom out on the rocks too often. I had to bend up some Lunsford links to clear the battery and cross brace. I'm happy with the results...

** Sorry for the piss poor lighting on these shots. I try to take all of my pics with my cell phone for the simplicity of uploading directly to photobucket. Sometimes they come out GREAT...others not so much.

Rig makes me want to get working on my berg. I want to do that rig up the same as I did my XR. I'm actually pretty stoked to get started on it.

What shocks are those?

Are those upper and lower links your design?

Scx10's

Correct...SCX10 aluminum shocks. Axial part number AX30090 "thumbsup"

The lower links are the DLux links for the Rockshow SS, but I've tweaked the rear lowers a little. The uppers were Lunsford links that I've bent to clear as much as possible...cross braces and battery...

Yessir! Thanks...not sure I'll be able to go the lightweight route on the new crawler though! Check out the SC section for some pics 8)

Today I received some VERY nice trans case covers from klabeaume...very nice work Kevin! The extra tab being incorporated like the stock covers is a really nice touch 8)
