Hulksta Berg w/DeLux precision

Hey pal, i'm a little late on the news... lol... WOW... nice set of Berg axles"thumbsup"

I think you'll be very happy with those...

But this new thread missed pics;-)

Oh, we got pics....before I read Curcal's and Blandon's thread last night I cut the rest of my shocks down. I have two sets of these now so I didn't feel too bad cutting one set. If you followed any of the XR thread at all you knew I was struggling with my shocks and ride height wth the Hulksta. I have a set of BIgBores at 83 mm and felt like that still wasn't low enough ....on the XR axles that is. Almost every pic I've seen so far has the shock/link mounts right at the hub or locker...wider than the XR axle. Seems that would bring it down more.

Hack sawed them, bevled the edges...internal limited about 6mm

This is how they turned out

The cell phone distorts your view a bit...it doesn't appear like it's measuring correctly...but that # is pretty accurate

A little longer than I wanted but like I mentioned, I think the width of the mount will compensate for that. Wada you think?

I'm waiting on the new links....and reading a lot. Always wanted to try these and found a real nice set for sale and couldn't pass them up

Thanks Delbert "thumbsup"

Have you figured out your electronics yet Noname?

Sounds like 90% of the posts in winner's threads... Have nothing to do with crawlers... :ror:
That's right kiddo! [emoji106] That's how you know, you have arrived... ;)

Look at Clanker go.. He's 2 days in the Berg section and already 98% BS in his thread and more rep power then you Eve! ;)

Lol, hope you guys are civil....
I don't mind the BS...keeps the world turning. I'll throw my feeble tech shit in there from time to time and keep us honest

I really wish vendors would list the shock spring sizes so you know what you're getting instead of "front" and "rear"....give me some numbers ....we're trying to find stuff that fits damnit

Sorry Clanker, one more incriminating pic!! Roksloski, you thought the last one was weird, get a load of this!!!:shock:OK, now back to the tech!!

if your looking for springs for your new short shocks , I would use some Losi Mini T front pinks. The Mini T fronts are short and the rears are long

Fronts are short. It's what ppl use on big bores.
Rears are medium length
Mrc Pro silver springs are "long"(it's what I use on my rigs)

I think you would be happy with the Rcbros spring's, for the length.
I can get measurements when I get home tonight.

my fronts don't want to go over the threads...they bind up...but the rears work nice...just don't have any soft ones

aren't RCBros actually Losi Mini-t rears ? sure looked like that...
that's what I mean about sizes...nobody mentions any dimensions at all, sure wish they would...thanks Troy
