There are lots of reasons I won't be using that. It is nearly 2lbs before you add your motor, I don't think it looks all that scale, and I don't know if it would hold up to the type of thrashing a truck like this will get.

I really think RC4WD could do a much better 3D engine than shown there. Maybe someday they will revisit that project.

It looks ok, but this one looked really cool. We all paid up and then he skipped out with all of our money (in total like $10,000) :x

Plan is to have the top end 3D printed. I just haven't found a model of the fuel rail covers yet. It's been a pain in the ass. Once I find all the parts I'll merge them into a single part to be printed for simplicity.

 sold.
ive got a set of carbon fiber covers on my LS if you need them to model.

After taking a look at the motor I started looking into link, axle and servo placement. I knew it would be tight, but it actually came together pretty easily.

I bent the links to create a cradle around the motor.

I plan on laying the servo down like this. I will try and hide it as best I can when it is finished up. LIkely a wrap to camo it and then throw a radiator on top of it.

This shows the relative position of the components. The headers are going to be fun. I'm planning on using a technique I saw on How It's Made with freezing water inside of brass tubes to stop them from kinking during bending.

Most of the transmission will have to be removed to fit the actual transmission. I'll try and keep as much of the bell housing as I can.
