Gun and knife picture thread!

Yep, I'd love one too Wyatt. Should have bought a damn Citori years ago. Then again, I'd have probably sold it off with the reasoning, "Well hell, I hardly ever shoot skeet or clays, might as well take the cash." I wish I had bought quite a few guns years ago to be honest. An M1a would be on that short list too.

Some wood looks good, but add in gold and forget it - you can keep it. Gold is just fugly to me.

Yeah, not big on gold on anything personally. I really like the case hardened stuff myself, and it truly represents how it was done back in the day as well.

I'm glad I didn't, and sold most of what I had. Bad enough having a $189 Winchester 1300 sitting in the closet unused, would be a travesty for a Citori or a Drilling sitting unfired.

Just a heads up guys and a question - I bought Mechanix Wear "The Original 0.5mm Covert Tactical Shooting Gloves" to, well, shoot. I used them for about 2 hours of sporadic, light shooting and they tore at the seam on the one finger. I contacted Mechanix and they said they'd send me an RMA label after I told them where I bought them. I told them and they said I'd have to pay return shipping since I didn't buy them directly from Mechanix. I refused to pay shipping to return a defective item that I literally used 2 hours. Return shipping would have been probably half the cost of the gloves! We went back and forth a couple of times, but they flat out refused to pay for return shipping. I ended up contacting the place where I purchased them. They sent me a return label and promptly refunded me in full after they received the gloves. This is my first experience with Mechanix products and their brand. I'm going to say they suck and it's a company to avoid. Not only do their products not withstand their intended use, but they also don't stand behind their products like most companies.

With all of that being said, which thin gloves do you recommend for shooting? I tried these because I liked the added grip from gloves since I tend to sweat a lot including my hands, but I still want them thin enough to have feel, especially in the trigger finger.

My ebay coupon score, thanks for posting it Tim!

Holds my 8.5" .300BLK pistol and 8.5" 5.56 upper perfectly in a nice compact package.

That looks like the Voodoo Tactical bag I got for my Kel-Tec Sub2K.

The already ailing Remington was just given another blow. A class action lawsuit has been settled and they have to replace triggers or compensate the owners on as many as 7.5 million guns!

-Current owners of Remington Model 700, Seven, Sportsman 78, 673, 710, 715, 770, 600, 660, XP-100, 721, 722, and 725 firearms containing a Remington trigger mechanism that utilizes a trigger connector;
-Current owners of Remington Model 700 and Model Seven rifles containing an X-Mark Pro trigger mechanism manufactured from May 1, 2006 to April 9, 2014 who did not participate in the voluntary X-Mark Pro product recall prior to April 14, 2015; and
-Current and former owners of Remington Model 700 and Model Seven rifles who replaced their rifle’s original Walker trigger mechanism with an X-Mark Pro trigger mechanism.

Meh, it's not really Remington anymore. Hasn't been since around 2006 or so if memory serves. They're owned by some conglomerate, The Freedom Group. They own quite a few gun manufacturers now; Marlin, DPMS, Remington, H&R, and Bushmaster.

AR15 Safe Space was having a sale so I picked up another VG6 Gamma 762 brake, and a skirted jam nut from Freedom Flag products. Both went on the M5E1. The Jcomp wasn't bad, the Gamma definitely outperforms it no question. I'm sure my spotter and range neighbors won't be as happy, but my spotter is used to it from the Tikka, and I always warn others at the range that my shit is LOUD!! :lmao: I really wish they'd do a run of the skirted jam nuts in larger barrel diameters, as I'd love one on the Tikka. Sure, you can buy a self timing brake for silly amounts of money, but this works very well (even in reviews), and VG6 is a reputable company, for 1/4 of the cost.

I'm sharing here first, because I feel a Huge part of it was my experience over the last 8yrs in modifying crawler stuff..

The belly in the handle was uncomfortable, to me, to say the least..
Then I made it to exactly what I wanted, to fit my hand and my wants, for it.
I took influence from a Spyderco Stretch and Sage 5
