Food/Cooking

We had plenty of food. 20+ adults. We also cooked up four Tilapia on the smoker.

Didn't do chicken on the smoker, it was cooked inside.

I need to get going on chicken so I can get it sorted out. I usually smoke chicken breast to put on Caesar salad or do some beer can chicken once in a while. Never really did much more than that, though.

We need to get together some time so I can get some schoolin'. "thumbsup"

Yeah i need to start practicing for the cook off in june!!

It's really easy. For my giant batch I use.
2 pounds ground beef
3 family size cans of cream mushroom soup. And maybe a couple small cans also.
2 cans sliced olives
Giant bag of shredded Colby Jack cheese
Family size bag of tater tots
And a throw away Turkey roasting pan, you need the depth.

Brown the meat. Then mix the meat with the soup and olives in a big pot.
Heat it up until hot. Add one single layer of tater tots to bottom of roasting pan, then cover with soup mixture just until tots are covered about half of the soup mixture . Then cover that with cheese. Another layer of tots , then the rest of the soup mix and top with cheese. Then cover with foil and cook on middle rack of oven at 450 until tots are soft and cheese is melted all the way through . Uncover for a lil just to brown the top a little and enjoy. It does take a while to cook.

Hopefully that all made sense. It was the first time I have ever written it down. And in
on my phone! Haha I usually freeze some and eat the rest for lunch for about a week.

Crock pot bbq beef short rib onion ramen noodle soup.

Another cook. This was the 13th.

Some stuffed sweet peppers, jalapeños, and habaneros. Had a couple of instances mistaken identity where someone grabbed a habanero instead of sweet pepper even though we had them ID'd by broken toothpicks in the habaneros. :ror:

Chili, peppers, sausages, and a couple of leftover slices of bacon.
