Food/Cooking

Three day brined, apple wood smoked turkey w/Rosemary, Thyme and butter basted.
Mashed taters, corn o' cob, walnut raisin celery apple stuffin', watermelon, and of course pan gravy.
No biscuits, I'm on a diet. :lmao:
EDIT: And whole cranberry sauce. Probably the best item in my book!

^I've hunted Snow geese in Katy many, many times. Rice, TX for ducks and Sabine River On Shell Island @ the Gulf. My bud lives in Beaumont and I go down to see him regularly. I love Texas, and would move there in a heartbeat, if I wasn't so connected to this place. Wifey and kid.

PS. Maybe next trip. West TX is a fair jont from East TX."thumbsup"

I had to kind of do it by guess work as I don't have a meat thermometer but I put it in the oven at 275 for 45 minutes rested it tented in foil for about 15 minutes then threw it on the grill about 3 minutes per side and it came out a perfect rare side of medium rare just like I like them. I forgot to grab a pic of it but have about half left so will take one later

Not the best representation as this was after being reheated but it was still damn tasty. The white stuff on top is horseradish btw. Imo a perfect compliment to a perfect steak

Burger King's kitchen has to be run by pot heads cause no one else could come up with that

Nothing special but I've decided to start trying to save some money for my pizza fixes 2-3 times a week versus buying frozen. Ultra thin crust, fire roasted sauce, double pepperoni, mozz, bacon and parm. Should be able to get about 5 pies from the ingredients versus maybe 3 from buying frozen. Helluva lot tastier too...

Smoked Boston Pork Butt and iron skillet baked beans, honey cornbread, corn, lope, coleslaw, and damn good mac & cheese that I make.
