Oh and my buddy here at work got one of these for his kid for Xmas and he's been putting shipping tape on the rear wheels and drifting it around on their carpet... No marks and easy indoor fun! Just sayin... Haha

I bought myself one of these for Christmas. I had 2 duratrax evaders previously and loved them. The hardcore go-fast crowd think that duratrax are junk, but I had good luck with them. You sure can't beat them for the price. Anyway, I'm having fun with the bug but it really needs some new tires/wheels. The stock tires are just too hard.

Dude, I know it! These things are great in my book! Easy on the wallet and puts a smile on my face... If I'm not mistaken they are derived from the early evaders? I worked on working out some wheels for mine using the rc4wd steels and 1.55 scale tires, the rear is almost worthy, but the fronts I'm still thinking about how I wanna set them up. Here's a teaser shot!

For your bearing in wheel issue you may be able to use the old rustler/stampede/bandit hub and traxxas stub axle with pin and a hex then mount any 1.9 or 2.2 wheel you want

any links to where you guys are getting these things?! they look like a blast and a guy i work with is REALLY into baja bugs, always buying, fixing, driving, selling... he would love this! tried to get him into scx10 II because he has a jeep XJ also, he freaked a little when he saw the cost lol
