axle pin fell out need replacement

I know I have seen people use piano wire and other objects that fit into the axle pin hole. But where can I get stock replacement pins for driveshafts and axles? Or is there a perfect size metal rod I can buy at the hardware store that will fit with a little hammering?

i used an allen wrench. just cut a little piece off. did it to my rear drive shaft, now i gotta do it again...lol i snapped one of my front pins today!:shock:
