The BHSN Crawler Club Fleet

Currently getting everything ready for tomorrow, just waiting on the batteries to charge now. (Also don't worry about the stack, the only contact being made is on the tires. I checked.)

I dunno your age and not important but society benefits from young people like you. Surely mom is used to feeling very proud. Good luck tomorrow.
That means a lot, I really appreciate it! Thanks, I'll definitely need it lol (nobody listens to the announcements these days, all the phones come out the moment the speaker comes on).

Didn't end up packing the E10. Batteries took way too long to charge, the first one is still on the charger and it's been there for like 4 hours. I'd pack the Optic instead if I wasn't worried about the other kids not being able to handle a 3s truck. I had it at school today and let someone drive it for like 2 minutes and they almost hit 5 different people and decided to do donuts right outside the office. It's a wonder I didn't get told off, lol. Definitely not letting that happen again.

Ok seriously no joke. When Volt joined I thought he or she was an adult and then somewhere school and Mom was mentioned and it clicked. I will second HPD comment. With 60% of my student body in my classes I can only think of a small portion that can ask, let alone write questions and other queries the way you can.

As far as other people driving make a super simple/basic driving etiquette list before they take a controller and then a 10sec visual demonstration. If they say they know how, have them demonstrate before they take off. Best of luck tomorrow, I hope you have a big draw.

Again, that really means a lot, I sincerely appreciate that.

Ye, I do plan on doing something like that. Something along the lines of "Don't try to bash them, and don't slam from forward to reverse, vice versa." I'll have the newbies practice on the Scorpions since they're extremely slow and fairly hard to break (aside from the very old and very bent plastic links). Also thanks, I doubt it'll be huge or anything like that, but if at least 5-10 people show up I'll be happy. The club will start getting some proper traction once the next school year starts and the clubs all set up booths to advertise.
Another thing to think about is programming the rigs to not be able to go full throttle.
I almost completely forgot about that feature, I'll definitely be setting the throttle limit to either 75% or 50% on most of the trucks.

Didn't have a very good turnout today, although I was expecting that because of how short-notice the meeting was. Drove some of the trucks around a bit and started planning out a course. The main goal now is simply to get more members so that it gets recognized as an actual club and we can try to get funding for cool stuff.

I'm curious how many exactly lol... at least two? I mean... a slow start is absolutely no indication of how much something might blow up. Just a matter of getting a couple ppl on board that don't flake and that have some friends. Next thing you know, you have a couple more and so on. I know you know this... just don't get discouraged.

The only person who showed up was one of my best friends that I've gone crawling with before (we have matching KOH Bombers, lol). But again, it was short-notice and there was a lot more I could've done to get the word out if I had more time. The plan for now is setting up a platform as a group chat to add other people to that are interested, and also getting some social media stuff set up (idk how that stuff works so I'm letting my friend do that part, she was super excited about it). I do have one other person that's a part of the club, he just couldn't make it today since he had esports practice. He's got a blue Cross FR4.

Decided to try having a teacher host a 'tutorial' for the club next week. Tutorial is basically just an open period to choose a fun activity (or a study hall). It replaces homeroom since we only have that on Monday. I'd have my actual sponsor do it, but he's technically a teacher at the career center and not the high school, so things work a bit differently down there. I do have a teacher that typically hosts some fun tutorials (old computer stuff, movies, etc) and I managed to schedule a day with him. We're going for next Tuesday, I'm hoping that more people will show up since it's lower commitment and people sign up for him a lot.
