Tuvia here from eastern PA, looking to pick up an Ax10 soon since the Gov is giving away money and I don't have any extra. I had a 1:8 Nylint Jeep but I broke the C and glued it and re-broke it, SOOO, I'm ready for a "real" rig now.

Hi Ya

Hey there, my name is Garth, I'm from Katikati (Bay of Plenty), New Zealand.
Not currently a rig owner, but have decided on a AX10.
Wanting a Chevy body ... but a Willys Jeep would also work for me.
Cool Forums, do a huge look around, found the answers to about 90% of my questions.

not really a newbie per-say but.... How do I get into the members classifieds sections?

Thanks to this site, I have rebuilt a Clodbuster I have had for 15 years into a Super. I had not used it in 10 years or so. It was missing most of the parts for the frame and had been thrown into a box and left for dead. I resurrected it by building a chassis out of aluminum and making my own links, connecting rods, etc. This site made all of that possible by giving me the ideas and motivation. I ended up having to buy a servo and a speed controller. Everything else was taken from my racing trucks that haven't been used for a few years. I had forgotten how much fun it is to run things over!

:) Welcome to the site and the R/C Crawler Addiction"thumbsup"

Guess i'm a little late for this but i'm a newb with crawler stuff. I've been lurking since last year and finally bought an ax10 about a month or so ago.

The name's Victor and i'm from south eastern Massachusetts.

The rig is an ax10 with rear steer, jr xs3 radio, 2 JR Z9100T digital servo's, novak rooster crawler esc, integy 60T crawler motor, and flight power 2100mah 2 cell li-po pack.

Soon to be installed as soon as they arrive will be: CC Mamba Max, CC BEC, Holmes hobbies 35T handwound motor, Hot Racing skid plate and heat sink motor plate, Also moving the lower links inside the chassis.

I come from running nitro's, so rc isn't new to me. But ESC's are. Definitely learned allot from reading and searching on here. Along with helpful information from some members."thumbsup"

Hello all crawler fans from the world!
Hey im a teen from the small country sweden and my name is Albin and my ride is for the moment not a crawler.. its a hbx car but thats just the toy i hade get from xmas but now im planing in get a ax10 to my birthday *smile* idunno if i can ask this in the chat so would apriciate a pm about what i could go for gear to the car (electronics) cant be to expensiv since i used the "please mom to get the new computer so the heavy stuffs need to wait ;) but the most importent thing right now is to say Hello everybody!

I've been browsing and learning for a week or so now, and thought I would introduce myself.

Currently, I don't own a crawler. My three son's (Yes that was a TV show), want crawlers, and I plan to join them as well. There's a huge amount of information on this site. At the moment, I think we will be getting three AX10 Scorpions. They seem to be a nice starting point. After helping them build theirs, I may either buy one myself, or tackle a scratch build. I REALLY like the Jeep Tubers.

Maybe after some good practice we will Try our hands at competitions. We would like to play spectator at some now though.

I live in the Loveland/Greeley area of Colorado, with three boys 5, 8, and 11, a great wife that allows the four of of kids play.

Newbie here!

Just a Ax10 for my crawler rig that i picked up last night.

Have a Revo 3.3, Nitro Rustler and the 16.8 E-Maxx. Thats about it for my toys right now. Really want to focus on building up and customizing my Scorpion to make it personal and well not like everyone else that has a stock one.

Camp Hill, PA here. So anyone local want to get together sometime just shoot me a PM!

Hello everybody,
I'm Emiliano, 28 and I live in Northern Italy. I got the crawling fever when I first saw a vid on youtube about 1:1 crawlers; then I found the RC crawling scene: it was a blast! A couple of months ago I did some research and bought 2 AX-10 that I'm now modding (with some help of the kind members of this forum) in different ways.
Next step will be getting a couple of CLOD axles, I'm really curious about what I'll be able to build without having to think about transmissions and drive shafts...
I think I love everything about this hobby, both the crawling part and the DIY side...

Crawling in Italy is growing quite fast, even if here in Europe the scalers have the biggest crowd (you should see what some people can build, I prefer xtreme crawling, but I always drool when I see some of those scaler trucks...).

See ya in the forum!

Hi names george (maybe). Dont own any crawlers (yet:D) planning to get A Axial Scorpion kit. But i Do have two eflite blade cps micro t losi xxxcr.

Another Kiwi logs in.

Hi, my names Garth.
I'm from Katikati (Bay of Plenty), New Zealand.
I'm a Manufacturing Jeweller and Badgemaker by trade, but currently working as a cleaner at a local Resteraunt/Bar.
Full time dad of one.
Rig: AX10 RTR, although by the time I have finished paying it off (next couple of weeks), it will be modded. Alloy links and ends, locked diffs, lathe motor, swapped gearing and a few other bits and pieces.
Hope to get into a scale build soon after I get it, not exactly sure what yet.

Most of you know me from PBB, but I am here.. I haven't been around for a while, but since I can't afford to wheel my BIG wheelin rig, I am thinking of building an AX10, but I can't decide if I want to start with a RTR kit and replace parts as I can afford, or if I wanna just spend the big bucks now and do it all the right way the first time. Great place you have here, and just like PBB, searching works wonders!
