2011 TCS Crawlers East Coast Championships

Here's the shots of the supers I took yesterday. I didn't get any of the mini's but I'm sure someone else did.

I shot quite a few videos with my phone of the impossible gate 4. I'm uploading those now.

Gate 4 was possible...yukon can verify that I was lined up to make it through it by taking the left gate but ran out of time before I could make it count...

I'm not per say going to doubt you, but within the time limits, did anyone do it? Last I checked, no one did. That's how I am basing what I said.

Yeah I knew what you were saying, but just wanted to say it was "doable". I don't believe anyone completed it within the time limit though so you're right there "thumbsup"

He said it was "IMPOSSIBLE"...it wasn't

I should add that my attempt was from the top...there was a gap just large enough for a tire between the boundary and the gate.

Ittybitty, Thanks for getting the shot of me driving the super and getting into the oddest position I think I could have been in. Nice pics.

Thanks again Lushtrucker for letting me compete with your super. I had a blast."thumbsup"

I got several shots of that "position" but they don't do it any justice...it was good enough to call "TIME" and let get a few shots before continuing. I wish you could see it better but the rock behind the tires made it hard to show how it was suspended in the air.

The entire rear axle was at least 6-8" from the rock with both rear tires off the ground...you can see the distance between the tire and the rock in the third shot...

That's all I have.

ECC was brutal! I loved it! Judging was fun and the break system really helped out. THANKS to all of my friends who helped me out with parts, my runs and for the plain fellowship. These events are like family reunions.

Special thanks to FISH, SCATTMAN and all of the sponsors who donated their time/money/prizes. SPECIAL thanks to SKIPPY & others for the coaching on my last 2.2 course of the day... I ended up with a -17 including the bonus and that felt awesome since my other runs weren't so great.

To those that made comments about me not smiling enough...

I didn't get to take many pictures but at the end of the day I did get a few from my course and the "Hell gate"

It was good to meet and judge with you Ashton. Gate 4 on our course was a show stopper for quite a few people as well. That 5th picture does a pretty good job of showing why gate 3 was so intimidating. I do think more people came close to having a heart attack from watching John run down to the bottom of the gate though!

It was nice meeting you too, Ryan. You and John R. did a great job on spotting trucks down in the hole so no one went over. LAter on in the day John went down there to retrieve gates and I could hear him... but I couldn't see him :shock:

Man, I should have snagged a few shots from where I was standing, oh well.

Great shots tho.
