Work makes me change the PIN on my iphone every 90 days. Cant be one used previously. If I'm at my desk when I change it, I can write it down, but sometimes I'm out doing something and can not write it down. I changed the PIN last week and since I do not use this phone very much, of course I forgot the pin. I input too many wrong pins trying to figure it out, so it wiped itself.

Now to log in and set this thing up, I need the network password for my email. Here's where it gets more fuckin fun. I forgot that too. How can you forget something so important you might ask? Well, we can't use our name and password to log in. We have to use our ID card, which has a different pin (that never changes I might add). We change the network password once every 90 days or so and dont ever use it for anything else. So here I sit...can't change my network password because my phone is locked. Cant unlock my phone because I dont know the network password.

Yeah... every damn thing is PIN#, ID#, password, multi-step verification, etc, etc. Sucks. Or in the case of my phone.. I miss just having a damn phone. Google is cancer.

Google's mantra when they started was "don't be evil". However, that didn't last too long when they realized that you cannot be a subversive data mining company and not be evil.

I love it when you are getting ready for a trip, and the day before you leave make sure all of your vital apps (house security, cameras, HVAC, etc...) are up to date, and that you can log into them. Without fail, the day after you leave, all of those apps dump a major update that require your user name and password, which you do not have.
