What job does the wife choose you do?Lost my voice a week ago now and still no signs of appearing ... blame the wife's choice of job I do ... imagine wanting to work with young snotty kids all day ? Can't even drink a beer ffs
I'll bet my wife would love it if I lost my voice... although the silent animated hand gestures would probably drive her nuts too.
lol why yes she has been enjoying it apparently, even tells me to try speaking less at the moment too
The "car" I've made one payment on and just bought Dec 13th iirc <5k miles ago (for the now soon to be Ex) was, hmmm, edge, mud, rock, blasted by the HOA gardening crew resulting in over 5k of damages!

Something tells me they won't have to worry about that much longer.
As if scAmazon didn't already suck enough balls, now they are delivering "overnight". You know what that means? They are delivering while you are sleeping. Last night I was awoken by my girlfriend's dog barking. Normally I'd blame the dog, but in this case, I don't blame her for barking when a stranger comes into the driveway and onto the porch!
Amazon with every cell in my body! I know it won't happen in my lifetime, but I seriously hope this place goes out of business for the better of all of us.
The ones that deliver overnight here often send that canned message about putting your pets away for them a few minutes before they get here. So between that, my cameras, and Amazon's emails and app notifications, I get at least 6 dings on my phone. Perfect thing to happen at 0300 while I'm trying to sleep.

Change the delivery window to deliver during the day rather than overnight. Easy peasy.

I am and have been for the last 13 years. My wife is awesome. I order more stuff than she does.
Well get a lawyer and ensure those morons never set foot on your property again. Then sue them so you don't pay a nickel. I'd also not be paying HOA fees for the short term. Like Amazon, nothing good comes from HOAs.
Nothing good has ever come from Amazon. On top of everything, their drivers are the absolute worst. No signals, cut you off, park in the middle of the road on blind turns, etc. It won't happen anytime soon, but I hope Amazon dies off.

This, easy problem to solve if you choose to.
Wife does most of the Amazon ordering. I'd rather deal with a few dings in the middle of the night than try to teach her how to change the delivery window.
I took it to a body shop yesterday and got the quote. This morning on my way out the door, already running late, I was met by the Company owner and his left hand. I told them they're more than welcome to get another quote for it, and I pulled ot out to show them the holes in the paint. They then "understood" where I "stood"
At least it sounds like their taking responsibility for the damage. Hope it's resolved asap. What a PITA... and for no reason except someone's negligence.

Screw that. I"m on call every third week, so our sleep gets interrupted enough. I'd be teaching my wife how to fix that ASAP. But to each their own.
