Sorry, no pics. I'll try to get some tommarow. Gonna paint it next weekend bright yellow.

Today we made the hood and trunk close and a radiator fit. Plus swapped out four struts for some used KYB's. The junk bluey I took out of the RR was locked up and bent at like a 15* angle.

Car didn't even crank over, just immeadiately fired right up after sitting for a year.

Tommarow we need to hammer/weld some sharp sheetmetal and test drive it.

I'll see you monday at 302 if thats cool at 5:15.

Your loss! Baby and I played for an hour before breaking a rod end on the crawler. I just replaced all four lowers two packs ago. Good thing Axial gives you plenty of spares in each kit.


Did your 1/10 batteries charge? Didja get a 3rd in your Runner?

Only other day this week I can do is Friday.

Naw, no rush on the charger. I just wanna know if it worked for ya. Didja get your runner's rear 3rd fixed? If you need a place to do it I have access to a garage in Plainfield on Cameron Rd. It's were I put my welded rear in a couple weeks ago. It makes me smile every corner that pedestrians give me the "look".

I could probably do thursday or friday. I gotta finish up the enduro car on tuesday and wednesday. It's number 118, yellow car with gold hood and rear bumper. The front bumper is silver/grey (it's from a turbo subaru forester, should make it fast).

So Im booked this week, but we should do some crawlin next week some time.

I broke my front ring and pinion on a hill later in the day, sooo Im going to throw a spare 4.10 in and keep my 4.30 in the rear... Lets see how this works haha

I also need a new engine in the 4runner... and a gas tank for the 92 as well.. I have some work to do. Haha

There is a mudbog on the worchester side of Eagles Ledge this saturday. Supposed to be all day. I'm gonna show up at about 5pm and then a few of us are headed out the ledge to go camping. Your plenty invited if your trucks together. Give me a call if your interested in going.

I replaced all the ball joints and idler arm in the blue truck to make it ledge ready. Now the camry has a loose steering shaft U-joint... fix one only to have to fix another

I bet the .20 difference will work fine. I'm curious as to how much it tightens up the turning radius. I'm saving coin for an aussie for the front of the blue truck.

Gas tanks are 100 bucks new on ebay, just be sure to paint/coat it before install. You can "make" a new sending unit bracket if your really cheap out of plate steel and brake line and some soldering or brazing work.

Can't help you on the motor, unless you get a core you'd like rebuilt.

Dangnabit, should have checked this earlier as I spent the evening playing with RC's and Mercedes up behind the apartment.

I'll be at Black rock Friday evening at 4:45 if you wanna crawl on the small piles in the parking lot.

Otherwise next wednesday and thursday work for me.

No I havent had time to swap it yet, Ive been busy getting a good donor motor for the 4runner and trying to hunt down a workable gas tank...

Cant do friday, but next wednesday works well..

Sorry. Been busy. This weeks probably not good. I got a 22re pulled it and brought it home, all to find out its not that great of a motor. So luckily enough, the guys gonna take it back so now I have to meet up with him and go get a different motor from elsewhere. haha. Its getting cold in the AM.

I think were wheelin at my folks place the first weekend in October if youre interested. No official plans yet. I still need to fix that truck too. haha
