What the newest cheap servo hotness?

Seeing as how the ripoffs haven't made the V2 improvements yet, they should have the V3 copied by the time Holmes makes the V5.

We have one company coming out with a v2 soon, doing the same changes I did for my v2 big surprise... I guess they got tired of middle pin shearing and ruining the case. :lmao: I warned about this being the primary fail mode of the v1 design, but of course the company vehemently denies any similarity between products and only made the changes after dealing with a few years of warranty piling up :ror: You probably wont see JX make the improvements, because they are making them "cheap" and also tend to just refuse warranties.

I have final revision of the v3 in hand now. I've been taking my sweet time to do it right. Its extra beefy. I'm sure it will get knocked off too, but I dont care at this point. I'll just keep doing my thing.

I've only got one "upper-end" servo right now which is the Savox 1283SG. Other than that I've just got budget friendly DS Servos mostly.

I'm definitely interested in the v3 though. Will probably make it as my first higher-tier 1.9 crawler servo.

As low as it is for China to steal products it surely is forcing legit companies to innovate to keep a leg up on clones.

I dig your motors John . Have not tried a servo or esc yet but I agree keep doing your thing . The YouTube content is refreshing and informative as well.

I have one savox servo and took it out of my exo terra because my wife would yell at me all the time convinced I was running over the cat . It’s noisy and Whiney but an eye opener for sure when it comes to what strong servos can do.

Pulled my DSSERVO 3225 apart to waterproof it more so I thought I'd share what it's like out of the box. It has a thin gasket between the front section where the gears are and the electronics. Same on the back cover. The screws that hold the case together have a rubber o-ring on them as well. It's been getting the treatment in my 7 year old's rig and it's still holding up fine "thumbsup"

I've ordered the 3235 to try out now as well.

Be sure to post here first when the V3s are ready to order. We don't need much time, just like 2 hour head start on the unwashed masses of FB.

Absolutely post when they are for sale John. I have a savox 1256tg in my Capra that would like a Holmes servo to replace and match the crawl master sport I picked up on Black Friday. I also have a 3brothers g13 in my 10.2 that I was unaware was a copy of the Holmes V2 I believe (correct me if I’m wrong). I like the servo and haven’t had any issues with it. I picked it up because a lot of my local guys are using it and they have had nothing but good things to say about it. But I don’t like to buy knockoff anything and if I would have know I would have definitely went a different direction.

Wait...what? Everyone knows the JX CLS-HV7346MG is a rip off but this is the first I've heard about the G13
