That's not so cheap! LOL
Plus $12 for a horn. Now you're at $72.
But for 400oz/in not bad. I wonder what power consumption is. I sure wish specs included amps at stall at their rated volts. I guess if you add a BEC it doesn't matter. [shrug]
My go-to "thumbsup"
Solid servo for the price. I like mine as a budget
Hang up and Drive
More than the Savox 1230 and 1231?
Come on ...who buys a servo horn for 12 bucks these days??:mrgreen:Plus $12 for a horn. Now you're at $72.

Got this servo today from Amazon - took some pictures comparing it in case height to other servos:
DS3218 Pro, DS3225, ProModeler PM470, the new DS3235sg, Traxxas 2075X (dead), JX BLS-12V7146 (melted wiring exiting case)
It's exactly the same size as the Traxxas servo, and shorter than the other 2 DS servos - making it an easier swap for most RTR servos.
We shall see how it performs... I'll report back to this thread.
How's the DS3235 (35kg) panning out for you guys so far?

I have this servo and also the DS3225 (25kg) variant. They are waterproof (so far ). Very happy with them. There are no other servo on the market with these parameters and price.
The DS3235 is very quiet also. These are my go to cheap servos.
Also i'm very happy with this guy also. 46kg on 3S directly from battery. Also there is no other servo with these parameters for $40.

I run my rc cars for hundreds of miles and very rarely these servos burn out
But its from China and a lot of the guys on this forum prefer to buy from USA manufacturers
In Europe i don't have such luxury.
The 46kg servo you listed has been discussed quite a bit in this thread. The gist of it is that it's a stolen Holmes Hobbies design by an ex-employee that worked for his OEM.
I chuckled. :lmao:
A stolen design from an (admitted) stolen design, so it should actually work and last longer.
I don't even see that Holmes makes a servo.

I've noticed he delisted it on his site as well. Not sure if that means something new is coming out or not.
