Hello everyone. I am new to RCCRAWLER and have read through everyone's setups. With that said, I have an SCX10 Honcho with stock gears and motor. I want to run a 55T motor. Will I run into any problem beside loss of top end speed by running a 55T? Will I need new gears? Any information would be very helpful. Thank you.

I run a 55t in my Honcho with stock spur and 17 pinion, up'd the tires size a bit and I love how it drives.

I've ran 27T/2S. 35T/2S/3S now a 55T/2S/3S. The 55T is a little slow for my liking even on 3S. Great low end control. When I smoke the 55T I'll be back to a 35T.

Anyone ran a GTB2 in an scx10? it's more designed for short course trucks, but I got one for free sitting in a box, figured it may be alright as a "upgrade" since my AE-2 appears to have died.
Anyone used it? and anyone had any decent luck with Turnigy TrackStar 21.5T Sensored Brushless Motor 1855KV?

figured these two together would make the rig a little quicker for trail driving (not a whole lot of rocks around my area) but still capable should I find a rockpile occasionally.
