I wouldn't see a need in using the BEC using the Holmes Hobbies' BRXL with 1 servo or even 2 for that matter. Plenty of amps on output.

I just swapped in a Titan 12T, I like the torque, but not too thrilled about the speed. Still learning about gearing here. Next is a good wheel/tire combo.

The esc will cut out when running a high torque servo. I have a BRXL and run a CC bec because the draw is to much.

Just "upgraded" to a couple sidewinder3 in my pair of scalers. I love the waterproof, auto lipo, etc.... They sold me with those two things alone. On top of that, they feel reeeeeaaaaaal nice in the slow end... Stuck my old tekin fxr pro in my mini grave digger.. Watch out!

Both are scx10, highly modified. jeep; traxxas tq/axial 27t/castle sw3... Hilux; spectrum dx2e/tekin 35t/castle sw3... Couple 40 dollar servos. All coated in clear, spray on liquid electrical tape. 2s power, 3s on my CRAWLER DAD LED's. Mud Boggin!

Everybody needs to run MaxAmps batteries PERIOD! You will get at least 4 hours out of a 5000 2s. I just got tired after 4 hours of hiking and trail running. Truck is powered by old Novak gtb with Novak ballistic brushless 13.5.

Until I make my mind up on what I want to run for an ESC and motor:
- Novak GTB
- Novak 10.5 & 12 tooth pinion
- Savox front servo
- JR rear servo
- JR R-1 radio w/Spectrum module
(no instant reverse really reaks! - need to order a dedicated ESC)

waterproofed the D772 steering and winch servos last night. ESC is already plasti-dipped. Now just to waterproof the RX and the SCX10 is completely waterproofed.
