What did you do today?

Took the wife and doggo on a drive to the mountains, found some Mud, and snow. Had to put ole Tater in low range...

Less than a couple hours left to decide on RC stuff. I've got some stuff on RC4WD I might get. And something is telling me to grab the yuge 14000mah 3S 120c Spektrum on clearance for $120 (reg 190) off Horizon.

Just curious a question about your truck. What's the square tubing under the rear bumper and under the front of the bed used for?

I'm going to take a random guess, only as a retired mechanic that has seen damn near everything.

Those are slide in mounts (they work like a trailer hitch - where you slide the other end in, and pin it in place) for a in bed camper shell. They're used to secure the camper in the bed and are removable so they don't hang out past the bed edges when the camper isn't on the truck.

Correct. Torklift mounts for my camper.

When I get rich and over my fear of flying (less likely because I'm a wuss), I'm going to do an RCC tour and visit you guys having all the fun. Cool ride!

Got my TF2 kit last night and had to capture this before I put it away. Teaser for y'all.

That's awesome! Who makes that stakebody kit?

I'll have to find the invoice but I've had it for a few years when I bought a huge order from Atees. I remember it wasn't listed as a 1/10 though.

2 day ordeal. Yesterday, I cut up an entire 1993 ez go golf cart with my HF corded bandsaw so I could dump it at my old job. Cut everything to about 10" long and <20# "for single hand dumpster tossing" (injured shoulder). Fit the entire thing in the bed of my truck without taking out the giant box. Dropped it off this morning.

Dang, I would have taken it off your hands. I’ve got a lifted one, now I want one on airbags on the ground.

The bed is from a Kingkong RC CA30 but you can buy the bed only. There's also a shorter CA10 version which the sides can also hinge down, making it a flatbed.

I made the doughnuts today just like everyday. lol
No I didn't make any doughnuts, I'm a Residential Home Upgrade Engineer Manager of Community Experienced Domicile for Pre Home Owners. lmao

However I did make some pastry cinnamon rolls last night.
Opened a box for the Optic kit today too.

Flushed the water heater then made a big old pot of chili... on a bed of corn chips with shredded sharp cheddar and sour cream and it was damned good. Then fell asleep in my recliner with my kitty cat listening to Rainy Night in Georgia by Ray Charles.
