What did you do to your TRX-4 today?

Welcome Gator-J! That's a unique take on the Bronco it should work well. I hope you consider starting a build thread in the TRX4 section to document it.

Finished painting the Comanche body for the rexy last night. Calling this one the Mustard Tiger (Trailer Park Boys homage, R.I.P. Philadelphia Collins)

Tamiya mustard yellow, tamiya white, rustoleoum bedliner as backer, bed, and fenders.

Next up is an interior of some sort, thinking either dinky or PL classic.

I'm curious if the Axial XJ molded plastic grille could be fitted in the proline Comanche body.

I feel like I should be listening to classical music and sipping red wine looking at moedawi's shots! :lmao: Vey moody. Nice pics! "thumbsup"

lol Thanks Man
well, today I added Metal stickers and the panel gaps also switched out the tires to 1.9 two face, i wanted the rig to sit a lil low without the tires rubbing into the body. Also switched the winch hook to this neat looking one from Integy, now im waiting on the snow fender vents thats are angled down instead of the mesh ones and also waiting on a 3mm Rope that i bought from Etsy to install on the front like the Defender from Spectre. ;-)

Testing out the truck today at home slowed down 50%

I saw a similar clip on Instagram for a tf2 overdrive and thought it’d be an interesting visual for the trx4.

This is with overdrive up front and underdrive in the rear

Some more paint changes...sanded off the camo and did a black grill, rust hood, green doors, and yellow back. Changed the sticker graphics. Think im done with it for the most part...like the way it turned out. May add some headlights down the road.

So I got a 10.2 Cherokee kit today and while it’s close the Cherokee grill is about .25 inches longer than the Comanche body. Could probably get it to work if you shave the sides down as there’s a bit of plastic there to work with. I haven’t opened that parts bag yet but when I do I’ll throw up some pictures in case anyone is wondering.

Parts tree is $20 at tower but it also comes with mirrors and door handles.

Something about that Jeep makes me think post-apocalyptic thoughts...

Lookin' better and better!

whats up everyone?
today I added some details.
metal door handles very detailed.
windshield wipers.
gas tank on the rear window.
painted the fake screws on the cage silver.

Got the Wraith Spawn interior trimmed, diced up and fitted for the Sporto Commanche. Painted the floor and panels silver, seats black, driver white. It pops pretty good in there with the silver. I meant to take a shot before I got it installed, but I got ahead of myself. Anyway, turned out pretty well and I'd say this set up is officially ready to roll. "thumbsup"
