What did you do to your SCX24 today?

Looks good ^^^. Kinda wish I'd gone with a stinger for mine but chose to do a less aggressive bumper. Looks okay but I think yours looks better. I've got the green deadbolt body as well fwiw.

Yesterday(again) I tried to set the mesh correctly on my micro komodo. This time too loose. I always get it too tight or loose. I had newer these issues with brushed motors…

Drove it! I don’t know why, but I thought because it’s brushless, it has to be quiet. Then I started looking at youtube again, and I (finally) figured out that it actually is quite loud. Mofo Rc’s nano beast is soooo quiet, saw a video comparing the sound of both of them.

Now I got the mesh set really good, and read about the settings and now I got everything set the way I like. I am just starting to understand how excellent the tegu and micro komodo are:mrgreen:"thumbsup"

My best friend, my dog “left the building” on 24.9. R.I.P. She would have been 17! years old on monday, 10.10.2022. To get something else to think about and do, I ordered parts from injora for 140€.

Also including the 23g/pcs Heavy Brass Outer Portal Drive Housing for FMS FCX24 Front & Rear Axles. The original body was 74 grams or something like that, now I got the Proline power wagon mounted, and including everything that I mounted it with, it was like 34 gram. Still not performing that good, but hope it’s gonna change.

And my scx24, (what this topic is about, sorry for the extra info regarding the fcx) is going to be even better in the future. Winter is coming, so good to have some fun things to do.

Ya’ll have a nice day! Im feeling so happy right now.

Hey, 2471:24 I'm really sorry to hear about your pup. He had a lot of years but it's really not enough for us and it sure doesn't make it any easier. Loosing a companion is just tough. You have my condolences.

Glad to see you're getting your scx24 dialed in and I'll admit, it sure is hard to not add up some upgrade parts pretty quickly lol. Take care.

Thanks, I really appreciate it. Gonna drive again today. Hope the parts arrive soon.

Installed and tested a panhard bar. It works.

Those rail kits are really tempting me to go that route too lol.

@ Curb Crawler- Any downsides or negatives that you've so far come across with the new chassis? Also wondering what length those shocks are.

I’m happy with it, the hardest bit was getting all the electrics under the body with higher front rails, anyone with any common sense with sus the build

The shock are 39mm, they need work, the spring rate is just too heavy for my liking

Well technically yesterday, assembled my injora high clearance links. They weigh 37 gram. Was putting the front uppers to the emax metal servo tray in the morning, but didn’t get it finished, had to go to work. Can’t wait until the evening! I’m starting to feel like a teenager again, next month I’ll be 45 years old. But this is a positive thing.

That's awesome. When we bought our home several years ago, I got a dedicated hobby room! It was something that I always wanted and it makes me feel like a kid in some regards... having my own place to work on all my weird projects and toys. And I'm even older than you lol.

That Mini Me is so cool! Started fitting my proline power wagon body(the old one went to the fcx24). The body is sooo good for low cog. After cutting the body, I weighed it. 15 grams.
