well i got one on monday and it still says waiting fullfilment on the status... package one ... i hope they didnt run out of trucks. :ror:

Just got an email with package #2 shipping information. Guess i get to try and hide packages from the wife on two separate days.

Package number one arrived. Straight axle phoenix kit with aluminum housings. I was going for portals to build a c1 but maybe I'll use this.
The wife told me there was a big package on its way, so ive got my fingers crossed its one of these. She wont tell me for sure wats comin. But i told her i wanted one n needed to get the kids all one. We'll see....
very exited that my combo #2 came in ... what a great deal, beyond stoked about it ... got a portal kit W/ machined gears, GREEN special edition impact wheels with Falken MT's, front and rear portal weights, light kit, aluminum motor plate and a set of metal incision driveshafts. Even though I have previously gotten a phoenix ... I robbed the axels and transmission for my holmes sherpa build and never gotten around to build the phoenix. Now its time to build one properly and seems like VP sent out exactly what it needed. I would of love to have gotten a pro (I snatched an ultra on the last promotion), since its going to go away soon but honestly I am very happy with the deal I got ... probably around the $950 value in this package. I got my Package #2. It was a Phoenix straight axle with the FDE axle housings, black aluminum knuckles, and gold KMC Impacts. Not fond of gold I sold the wheels and traded the kit axles and shocks for their portal counterparts. I'll hang onto the FDE axle housings for a bit. Maybe I'll use them for a build later, maybe I'll sell them for a million dollars in a few months. I was not brave enough to buy a third one.
Ended up with a RTR, Motor Plate, Black F10T, and a few more goodies for it, Not sure exactly what I was most hoping for but after building 3 trucks in the last few weeks I was happy to throw a battery in and take it out on some rocks to have fun right away. Probably keep this one fairly stock as the loaner rig.

thats a sweet package F10T's and Wheels ... VP gave you enough gold to make it work as accents. I bet you some glossy black Holy rings will cover enough gold on the wheels to make'em more appealing to the eyes. :mrgreen:

sweet deal that rig looks great ... ready to run it and then change to the F10Ts once your plastics start to look rough... but to be honest the plastics on the FT0's is so good hardly gets scratch deep ... the rod ends start to look worse first.
I have been happy with my other sets of F10s, portals and straights. I want some aluminum portals on my oldest Phoenix but that will wait till the miles truly wear out the housings.
F10Ts will probably end up under a custom rig at some point, I was thinking a 4runner hardbody on a scx10 pro chassis with the F10Ts.
nice i am doing something similar ... i have an rc4wd 4runner on a Brazing scale leaf sprung chassis using F10T's under it. :mrgreen:
That sounds like a killer combo and one I may just have to copy. :ror:
