Ty's RR10 Bomber Build

I'd also suggest the TJRC delrin trailing arms. A lot lighter than SST, but so slippery and strong. Also uses revo (or RPM) rod ends.

I have put many hard U4RC laps on mine with zero issues.

I had never seen those, my VP arms are like glue on rocks.

TJRC arms on the way, lets see how delrin holds up

Those are appropriate trailing arms for connecting all those baller Vanquish parts to the chassis.

JEC Racing also does custom engraving. You could get something like the Tekin logo, for example, machined into the arms. "thumbsup"

If you end up upgrading the trailing arms - JEC Racing makes theirs out of stainless, very slippery. Frenched Jato rod ends and 5 shock mounting hole choices...

Can get them from SuperShafty or direct, different lengths available as well.

They're an excellent upgrade. Got a set on both of my Bombers.
I will also suggest the JEC Racing trailing arms. Here are mine. Work great.

Updated post 2 with shocks. I was going to order MIP shafts but I'm going to see how long the stockers hold up. They seem to be doing well for many others! Now to decide on wheels...

The stock shafts have been surprisingly durable.
I've been beating them in my Bomber like a red headed stepchild with a P4HD 3500KV on 3S... No complaints.

Agreed.
No issues at all with the WB8 HD shafts, they've held up to some pretty intense hammering with a HH PP 3500KV and have been in some super tight binds.

Ty, the Bomber looks awesome.
Great job!

Here's mine after crawling and rock racing at Axialfest, 7 separate U4RC races, and many local trail runs.

And here's what the stock plastic looks like after only a couple of trail runs.

Well I went ahead and put the Axial braces on for now, after stripping the gold of of them. Next projects will be some scale touches!

Made a fuel filler neck real quick out of some fuel tubing and an SCX10 shock reservoir. Came out pretty sweet!

Went ahead and built some MIP shafts and installed them this morning. Going to order up some limiting straps today! Still waiting on wheels, tires and foams.

VP .475 hubs and disk brakes! Decided on Method 105s in black with red rings.

Limiter straps showed up today, got them installed to see how the length will work. I think it's good, they are 95mm and mounted the way I have them limit the shocks to 98mm up front and 100mm out back. Will it work good? Who knows, but it looks good and that's what really matters! :ror:

Got wheels, tires and foams headed my way! Also got this little gem of an ESC on my desk now. Waiting on the motor and Vanquish mount then they will both go in!
