The group here talked me into 3300 brushless with mamba-x. 8)


I couldn't source a larger spur gear but got a 10 and 11 pinion. Put the 11 in it for starters. I still think it's gonna be too fast on 3s but will give it a shot.


My thread is the ascender/scx10 to bomber. It went from 'trying to decide' to a build thread. ;-)

You might think its too fast for awhile til you get used to it. I was thinking of getting a faster motor and putting my 2850kv in my scx10 instead of the 1850kv.
