The Vanquish Currie F9s are a work of art. Well, all Vanquish products are works of art, but there's just something about the F9 that I really love. The assembly is always easy and the fit of the parts second to none. In a few hours I went from plastic AR60's to badass F9s complete with scale knuckles, locker and VXDs. The VXDs are a larger stub shaft with an 8mm wheel nut vs. the 7mm standard size. Oversized axleshafts and huge u-joints are going to provide plenty of strength in the front end!

I also went with a full set of Incision stainless steel links, these are HUGE links compared to the titanium versions on my JK. They fit the attitude of this rig perfectly.

Had these GMade PiggyBack XD 103s laying here since my Wraith is torn down. I think they will be at home on the Bomber! Also added de-anodized Axial trailing arm braces.

Loving what you have done so far....but I have to ask, what's the scoop with a ROC412 HD motor...there's nothing on the Tekin site that I can see???

;-)

I noticed that when they announced the RX4 esc coming out and http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/electronics/573841-tekin-rx4.html. They listed both ROC412 and ROC412HD in the info but no one spilled the beans yet on these ROC HD motors. Assuming longer motors much like the Pro4 and Pro4 HD.

Correct, it is a stretched version of the ROC412. We are updating the ROC motors as well, so stay tuned for that!

I really like the setup so far. Those new VXD shafts are on my list, that F9 front with Vxd's makes me drool. I know my buddy Maslin wants some also. Ill be watching this thread"thumbsup"

I did the xvds on my bomber. I broke two kit version cvds from axial. The finish and fit is amazing on them. I kept the ar60 plastic housing but did beef tubes. My wraith has f9 and I noticed that the metal grabs where the plastic slides. For my application it works a bit better.

Clean build I'm excited for the HD roc motors. I love my tekin pro4hd already

Aluminum definitely hangs on the rocks, that's why I'm debating on the trailing arms. I want this to be a fast rig but also be able to crawl well. I might just put the braces from Axial on for now.

Nice Build, Wish i would have saw this sooner...I just ordered my ROC412 3100kv from you guys and it was delivered yesterday. I would have waited to see the new motors. I might have to call Dan and see what he can do for me : (

If you end up upgrading the trailing arms - JEC Racing makes theirs out of stainless, very slippery. Frenched Revo rod ends and 5 shock mounting hole choices...

Can get them from SuperShafty or direct, different lengths available as well.

They're an excellent upgrade. Got a set on both of my Bombers.

Those are appropriate trailing arms for connecting all those baller Vanquish parts to the chassis.

JEC Racing also does custom engraving. You could get something like the Tekin logo, for example, machined into the arms. "thumbsup"

I'd also suggest the TJRC delrin trailing arms. A lot lighter than SST, but so slippery and strong. Also uses revo (or RPM) rod ends.

I have put many hard U4RC laps on mine with zero issues.
