I'm replacing a plastic cage that came with my scaler TJ jeep body with an aluminum (i know, i know) one. I've got 2 large bent pieces that will make up the outside (basically running from the A to the C pillars) and then cross braces at various points.
I'd appreciate any why-the-F-didn't-I-think-of-that tips to steady and hold the first couple brazed joints and keep it square. Once the general shape is together the smaller pieces should be easy, but having trouble with getting started with first pieces. Thanks in advance.
I poked around other posts for a bit and found this video below, and while helpful it doesn't seem to require the precise angling needed to make it look square and even on sides that I'm looking for. There was another video referenced where someone showed their technique, but I think it's been removed unfortunately.
