The "Little White Bronco " Story.

Thanks Gramps. Had it out last night and it did the trick.
It's an RC Lions Roof Rack Light Bar that I got off Amazon for $17 cad.
Thanks. I went for a little rip last night and it was pretty bright. Not as bright as the light bar on my Defender but certainly bright enough.

Got out last night between rain showers and was able to try out the new light bar. I wouldn't say it was blazing the night sky but it was certainly bright enough to adequately light up the trail.
It was still light outside at first break.
Lunch break was after dark so out for a rip I went. I'm quite happy with the performance and the look of this light bar and the price was pretty good too ($17 cad).
I took quite a few tumbles last night and landed on the roof a few times. The light bar survived but it did bend slightly on one particular fall off of the bridge from about 18" off the ground. I think I'm going to glue some type of reinforcement strip across the back of it to provide a little strength and rigidity.
All in all I'm happy with the new light bar. Happy trails.

I bought another Bronco the other day. I'm going to use the chassis and electronics from this rig to get my Little Green Defender back up and running. I absolutely love this colour. This is going to be a spare body for the Little White Bronco.
Before tearing it down I wanted to install this Injora LED light kit.
The lights pop into place using clips on the back of the light buckets. I used a small flat screwdriver to push them firmly into place.
Once installed I organized the wires with some stick on clips and a couple of small zip ties.
All lit up and ready to go. This is a simple light kit that turns on when the battery is plugged in. It doesn't have the brake and reverse lights like the actual TRAXXAS light kit.

I bought a set of Injora metal bumpers for the Little White Bronco.
Both bumpers came with red tow shackles and installed quickly with just two screws. The rear bumper has a trailer hitch ball for all your towing requirements.
The front bumper has a sleek looking light bar on it and a nice skid plate down below.
Certainly seems to be bright enough!! :shock:

Front bumper before and after.
I removed the rooftop light bar as it was cracked in half from a few roll overs. It still worked but it bothered me that it was broken.
Rear bumper before and after. These bumpers really tuck up nice and tight to the body. "thumbsup"

Well, the hitch probably isn't going to work very good like this!? :ror:
Flipped it around and that's better.
Took it off completely and that's even more better! I'll save all the towing duties for the Little Green Defender.

Man those bumpers look awesome! It's hard to believe that those are that small, yet look that good!:shock:
I definitely have to get a set of those for my mini Bronco. I just put the Traxxas light bar kit on my front bumper, but I like the looks of this so much better.8) And I like the tow hitch better than the one that Traxxas has for their bumper.

Did some night driving tonight on the course at work. The light bar on the new front bumper is ridiculously bright!! No problem seeing where I was going at all. I was a bit concerned that the front skid plate would get hung up a lot on rocky sections of the course but that didn't end up being an issue.
You can see all the way to the far side of the course in this picture.

Looks like the light bar LED's are right in line with their 1:1 big brothers. The new Chevy and Ford trucks have blinding lowbeam headlights these days!:evil:
Anyways, nice to see that these lights have that much output. Looks like plenty of light for a nice late night trail run!

I had some time to kill after an appointment in the big city yesterday so I brought the Little White Bronco with me hoping to find a spot to do a little tiny truck wheelin'.
I managed to find a big empty lot that had a bunch of dirt and gravel piles on it. Not spectacular but it would have to do.
Some of the piles were like mountain ranges for the Little White Bronco.
This old broken plank was a fun little feature.

I ended up spending about 40 minutes here before heading off to work.
There was a variety of terrain here to mess around on and in the end it was a fun driving session.
These culverts were great big tunnels for the Little White Bronco.

Every time you update this it just looks better and better. I had my reservations about that bumper at first but it suits it.
