Team Carnage Crew's KOH 2010 chassis build

I was jumping down from the forks of a skid steer (3-4 foot up) planteed my foot on some gravel foot slid then planted knee popped out side ways then I hit the asphalt.

Ouch - sounds a lot like when I tore the meniscus in my knee. I also chipped the patella.

Better get this thing finished. I heard last year's winners are already out testing and making large gains on speed over last year.

thats a straight up nasty ass rig! love it! sorry if its been asked but what sized tires are you running?

Bastard will be running his 40" sticky baja claws, I'll run 39" BFG Krawlers.

I'm sure there's more than just them out there already. Advantages of living close, sadly it's 1000 miles away for me. We'll get some testing done before and will show up early and be pre-running all week. With all the attention to deatil on these cars I'm not so much worried about the car but just getting some seat time.

So im not into 1:1 stuff, ''turn brake'' = ''hey watch this! im gonna powerbrake into this turn and drift it''?

:ror: Almost, they are separate brake master cylinders plumbed into the rear brakes. 2 separate handles, pull the right one just the right rear brake applies. They are used alot in sand rails too.

well took some time but got the driver side header done. Started with a box of stainless u bends and a trip to the lazer cutters on saturday. They are 1 7/8 primarys to merge collectors then to 3.5 tubes that merge to a single 4 inch race muffler. The headers are all stainless ane the 3.5 merge is mild steel.

Can't wait top hear this thing run.

We ahve got allot more done since I last up dated this thred but I have not taken pics of the progress. I will try to get some mor pics tomorrow."thumbsup"

Jason, I told Bastard that I have a half roll of the header wrap that I can donate to the cause. I am going to try to make it down there this week to start on the pipes for the wife's bike so I will bring it down for ya."thumbsup"

Cool thanks Rob. Everything from the V-bands to the inlet of the muffler will be wrapped and probably double wrapped, will also have a heat shield/ air deflector to keep hot air out of the radiator. I'm confident heating the radiator up won't be an issue.

The limited TIG experience I've had didn't really turn out so well. Aaron on the other hand makes it look too damn easy.

I'm going nuts over here.....these rigs are absolutely beautiful from one end to the other. Just about ashamed of my junk now.
