Team Carnage Crew's KOH 2010 chassis build

:fingerscrossed: We should only have to stop once for fuel round half way. We have alot of guys going that said they'd help pit, once I get closer and know who is going for sure we'll nail the logistics out than.

Is your chase crew all ready or getting ready as well, if i wasnt injured this year i would be going with my buddy as a chase for his brother"thumbsup"

This car will need no chase crew.:mrgreen: Just kidding don't want to jinks us.

You sure you're gonna have enough HP to haul that extra weight around the lake bed? :flipoff:

You better be haulin' absolute ass. Shannon was fast last year, even with the tranny fix.

Oh if it all works out (aka I'm not broke) I'll stroke some power out of my block. "thumbsup"

Shannon is fast for sure, but you never know what can happen. Hell he wasn't hard to beat last time. :ror:

Funny you should say that talked to the campbell crew today and Nick pretty much said the same thing. You have to finish to win and you never know what can happen.

Pretty cool to get a phone call from the Campbell crew saying I was looking at some cool cars on the internet and just figured out that it was yours."thumbsup"

The only down side is getting air to the radiator, I am guessing a duct off the roof?

That's AWESOME right there. "thumbsup" Had to make you feel good hearing that.

There's going to be a ton of air flowing through the interior but yea we talked about scoop on the sides or top. One way or another it'll be ducted and shielded from the hot exhaust too.

Have you figured out the rules on the mesh screen/low fire wall deal like Shannon is running.

According to the rule book I have what Shannon is using is all legit.

What is that mesh material?

You made reference that you guys are bigger and regular seats dont fit well. What height weight # are you building to I am 6'2" 265 and I agree its challanging to build a car that fits. Mine was originally built to meet pro mod so its narrow at 48" and with the go fast stuff I am beating on my co driver.

I couldn't find it what is the chassis width and what are you shooting for for a wb.

Geoff

The rules state that the fire wall must go from the left side of the car to the right and from the floor to the top of the driver shoulders unless the fuel tank is above the shoulder then it must be 2 inches above the shoulder. and must be completely sealed off So our fire will do just that leaving us all the area from 2 above the shoulder to the roof to do what we want with. We are running the stainless mess mainly to keep big pieces of dirt and rocks out of the radiator and motor compartment.

Regular seats fit fine. We are running off the shelf Mastercraft Pro 4 seat with out headrests on the seat. This is where us being over six feet is come in to play. The head rests are not tall enough and hit us mid neck. SO we went with mastercrafts 8 inch round head rest that we can mount were it needs to be.

Our chassis are just at 48" in side And will be 11.5 inch wheel base.
