Team Carnage Crew's KOH 2010 chassis build

Spent most of the day down at the Carnage garage... Wait till you see the exhaust now!! SICK!! You will have to wait for Jason or Bastard to post the pics since I didn't have my camera. These suckers are gonna sound bad ass!! All everyone kept saying was "I can't wait to hear it!" Everything about these buggies is just way too cool for words... the pics don't do them half the justice they deserve.

Well we got some more done. This thing is by far the most fab work I have done on one project but it is going to be bad azz.

We finished up the headers and exhaust I can't wait to here this think come to life."thumbsup"

Looks amazing, and at least you have all kinds of time to put all that fab work in before the event  :lmao: Bettery hurry 8)

rodger that hope to pull it apart at the end of next weekend so I can start my hell week. AKA week of welding to finish the chassis.

Few pics I took.

We changed the rear shock mounts to better match the look of the fronts and it just flows better. Don't think they are going anywhere.

Exhaust on this thing is nuts, I can't wait to hear it.

Things like this will never show once the skid plate and sides are on so I'll show it now. "thumbsup"

Yea that's still my old engine out of the old car, I'll run it as is for now. $$ and time are not there to build it before KOH. I have a plan for that power plant, just gotta wait till the timing is better.

Makes sense. Tons of work left for Aaron between welding and that hood.

What's with the steering? Why the long(ish) steering shaft instead of a short(er) shaft to the orbital? Less hose to fail?

Not really worried about the hood right now, if there's time we'll mess with it otherwise it'll wait till later. All the welding is where I start to feel bad, I have no TIG experience so I can't help weld it. :?

I've seen and heard about lines and fittings failing on the steering valves, don't want that thing anywhere near my legs. There will be a piece of lexan between the valve and the passenger compartment.

Sick rig and nice Profile on you guys in Crawl.

Scott

Thanks, Bastard picked up one of the mags over the weekend. It's amazing to look at those pics and see how far the rig has gotten in only a months worth of weekends.

X2 and plus all the loot they saved building them. Stainless merge headers are high as eagle unmentionables. We have them on our dirt late models and one set of those were around 6K:shock:

To give you a clue check these out. Just $1550 for the collectors:shock:

Yea you can spend a small fortune on stainless exhaust. I don't quite have that much into mine but it was about triple what I spend on smaller steel header kits.

Had the brown truck show up today and drop off a pair of these sexy bitches. Summit machine double sheer aluminum high steer arms. Where's the damn :bling: smiley when you need it.

Stainless inserts so the aluminum doesn't get wollowed out from the heim bolts.

DSC03772.jpg

Tapered stainless inserts for the tapered nut that goes on the ARP stud.

DSC03773.jpg

These are by far the nicest high steer arms I've ever laid my hands on.
