Well, I am not sure why but Erik let me test a set of his new axles. These are awesome built from the ground up by Erik. No farming out fab work, all built by Erik himself."thumbsup"

I have never had any plans of switching from my bully's but there is no passing up on these axles.

I went with the bully knuckles, ax10 C's, and Erik's sweat shafts! I like this setup for the front because I like the hub design, and the knuckle design. It is very efficient while being strong and affordable. It's an unbeatable combo in my opinion. It also provides a crazy amount of steering.

The low down (most of the stuff is from the bully)

-C.K.R.C. Droid chassis (carbon)
-7950
-FXR's (mamba micros very soon)
-old brood motors with lathed cans 40t
-Dlux wheels (glued)

**DLUX AXLES"thumbsup""thumbsup"**
With
**Dlux shafts**

These took a while to put together considering I have never seen the inside of a berg and I got a giant bag of parts to sort threw.

3lb 4.3oz RTR. Not bad considering I haven't gotten crazy on light weight parts. I still have big Ti lowers, FXR's, cast bully knuckles, body, and heavy motors.

Wow that's crazy light. What a great new direction the berg.

I'm sure you aren't the only person who lied to yourself. Once they are released there gonna be hard to get.

I know! Funny thing is I thought it would be lighter. The axles alone are over 8oz lighter than my bully's were! Really, what's cooler than Al rear axle shafts!

Thanks. And I hope so.

So thats just a little cool. I wonder if there is a way to now use this case/axle to potentially put a locking set screw in the RC bros locker, and get ride of some of the axle play.

I need to start digging in mine, and everyone elses couch cussions.

I figured this was coming for you. Eriks new creations really are awesome! Im lookin forward to your testing results.

Erik was determined to get me to switch to a berg. I don't think this counts as a berg so :ror: Thanks

Ok...you don't have a choice now...you HAVE TO COME TO OUR COMP!!!

I sure hope so. I lost my job last week so I'm not sure ill have e funds now. Sucks. But I will get to drive the shit out of it around here.

Dam bro ur lucky mine won't be here till Wednesday.

They are worth the wait good buddy"thumbsup"

Looking great Stubs. Go with the HHBRSL's over the SWMP's.

Thanks. I wish. I'm all out if kidneys right now. BRSL's are the shit.

F'ing sweet Jerm "thumbsup" I R jealous....

Thanks man. I'm still hoping I can make it down Sunday. We'll see.

I couldn't see there being a need for this. I have Eric's shafts in the front that are machined for the RcBros locker and his Al rear shafts (why anyone would buy other shafts for a berg when these are available is beyond me) are huge where they engage in the locker. There is no, and I mean NO slop. It is absolutely crazy how tight they are. But still smooth.

Wow.. That is awesome. Those axles look great. Jealousy doesn't even begin to describe what I feel.."thumbsup"

Yeah, whew! Landed on your door step in the afternoon YESTERDAY and already with the build thread today? I am surprised you even got it done, enough with the slacking :flipoff:

IMO, the best thing about how light they are is that there is no longer any wondering how to get the weight off. What I mean is, you look at others threads and the same car with the same parts can be ounces different. People are modifying parts to get the weight down. Sometimes you catch every little trick, sometimes you miss them and are heavier. With these axles Stubs is running, that is the way they would be delivered. No screwing with this or that. Plug that thing in, have one of the lightest cars around and be good to go. You can still modify the parts to get even lighter but in Stubs case, this is worst case senario as the production axles I provide will be significantly lighter with TI and AL screws and he is also running really heavy cast Bully knuckles. I am excited to see where the weight comes in with Wriath/AX10 stuff.

I will be going to great lengths to make sure these are not too hard to get and that the price is as low as possible. The worst of it will be in the beginning and catching up with the initial orders. After that, it should be all down hill.

I think you would need a diff cover to make that work? Any improvements are sweet but I cant think of how to make it happen.

No, it counts. Cha ching!

I don't think an rcbros locker will work in these cases. Mine came with a Dlux locker for each end, and they are much shorter.

A standard RC bros will not work. They are much wider. I am not sure if you can tell from the pics, but the outside to outside on the flange of the tubes is about as wide as a berg case with no tubes.

Man this is sick!!! Great build up.......great new product. Now go test it so Erik can sell them to all the rest of us chumps. hahaha

Working on it. I'll be heading out soon.

I had a couple interviews so I stopped an ran a pack threw it before. It drives amazing this light. It makes my laugh like a little school girl!

The one thing I noticed being at 3lb 4oz is it feels crazy stable but when I starts to go, it goes fast.
