After many years away from RC crawling I finally started to rebuild my Clod torsion stick. The old build is still on the site but had to start a new account. It was build for the old super class comp rig. Still working on some kinks and want to get the front dig setup like I always wanted to 17 years ago. I was able to get it out in the back yard and do some testing. I redesigned the axle to chassis mount. Need to get some new tires these are starting to dry rot and crack but they still get the job done.

Noice to see a "vintage" build being built/ completed. This a pimp cane ? Sorry, although i own a pair of axles and a bunch of parts, I'm not very Clod knowledgeable.

I have heard people call them that over the years. I think anything setup as a stick chassis crawler can be called a pimp cane.

Well I tried to us a different size angle iron and found out i have to go back to the original size or use some C-Channel to gain the strength. Gonna be some trial and error. Things happen when you custom built.

The hole didn't help.
True. It was for another bracket I was using for a receiver mount and wanted to build a dig switch but it did turn out as planned so I removed it and just made a smaller mount for the receiver.
