Re: Pacific Coast Championships June 16/17th 2012

The 2.2 S Class "Gorilla Style" is something we do around Sacramento. you get a phone call with a time and place that nite and we comp! $20 bucks buys ya in and winner takes all. in this case we are giving you a heads up, it's a shafty class only, no dig and instead of the winner takes all we will be doing a 50% progressive pay out. 1st gets 50% of the pot and 2nd gets 50% of whats left and 3rd gets 50% etc till there is no $ in the pot. it's going to be held at the end of the day Sat. maybe in the dark it may not. Hope to see you all there.

Re: Pacific Coast Championships June 16/17th 2012

Re: Pacific Coast Championships June 16/17th 2012

Alright ya'll , those of you lurking in the background waiting to sign-up, get a move on. this comp location/rock/Is going to prove to be a stellar comp. I hope to see alot of us dedicated compers as well as some new faces out to have a kick in the pants good time. Sign ups are over half way to having this be an invite comp. and I have no doubt by the end of the weekend its going to veted with enough compers signed up to do what we do. Drive the wheels off our little trucks!!!!!!

I know its ambitious, but I need to set some goals right?

Unfortunately, it will just be 2.2 Pro for me this time, unless Shelby wants to lend me his sporty rig again.

Re: Pacific Coast Championships June 16/17th 2012

I've got a question for a few guys that are thinking of going but can't afford the trip without the idea of possibly getting a invite spot. What's the magic number of attendees needed? Also is there invites for supers and 1.9's as well depending on the number of drivers? I'm going to be there for sure but a few are struggling to commit. Just trying to get some more info to push them to come with.

Thanks;
Dan

With new events with no history and short notice for the drivers its hard to say exactly how many drivers will show up, and subsequently its hard to know how many invites will be awarded.

Currently there are 3 level of Nationals Qualifier.

Level 1 Qualifier:
30 Drivers Minimum (2.2 Pro or 2.2s)
1x Class Minimum (2.2 Pro or 2.2s)
1x Nationals Invite (Per class w/ 10 driver min)

Level 2 Qualifier:
40 Drivers Minimum (2.2 Pro)
2x Class Minimum (2.2 Pro, 1.9, Super or 2.2s)
2x Nationals Invite (Per class w/ 10 driver min)

Level 3 Qualifier:
50 Drivers Minimum (2.2 Pro)
3x Class Minimum (2.2 Pro, 1.9, Super or 2.2s)
3x Nationals Invite (Per class w/ 10 driver min)
