Project Zeus: Cycon's Steven Eugenio Trophy Truck Build

Cycon, do u have to run a wheel extension on your rear axle to get them the right width with the front axle? Thx

No I don't. Hex to hex width on the hardcore is the same width as the slash front hex to hex (2wd and 4x4).

Hey man any updates on the parts, is she almost RTR again? can't wait to see more. While its on my mind do you have any plans for the cage? paint/powdercoat or leave it raw?

Yup she's back running again, got the replacement parts this past weekend. Have a very cool video I plan to shoot tomorrow.

As far as the cage I'm still not sure. It's between paint and leaving it raw, definitely not powder coating it. Might use the paint the real truck uses ;)

Aww yes so nice! I like the bird's eye view, it shows off the sharpness of the cage [emoji7][emoji7] That axle really does look dirty though huh...

TGual they're proline f11's, protrac offset.

and Sean I told you I know it's ugly lol, ( you can't even see it in this pic) next chance I get I'm getting it done. I know you're trying to get me to send it but that's not happening..

Lol, it was. When i opened the page the pic was ginormous... but it looks like its been resized now. "thumbsup"

The truck looks really good, great job man! I have a similar chassis im working on next.

Oh ok lol, mine does that too. But thanks man, looking forward to seeing what you have planned.

Yeah I know I know just trying to see exactly what you decided. Good though, I probably wouldn't want to do that either. Just don't be jelly when mine is freshly blasted as well as brand new... [emoji16] That is, if I can get it

Swivel mount test run went well yesterday. Absolutely love the shots this setup gets. Still not 100% perfect. It had a slight wobble and I need to raise the caster so the pole doesn't clang against the roof. But the truck handled the extra weight fine. Had to really stiffen up the shocks but that's about it. Surprisingly it still handled really well, except for that one roll over lol. Can't wait to use this some more.

Outside view.. you can see the caster was mounted to the aluminum roof plate

Got wheelies bro? Lol Pretty sweet mount, you can get some killer shots with it. Btw Is there a mini geiser edit video? can't find it on your channel. There wasn't a link to it but it previewed at the end of the 360 mount vid.

Haha yeah, it can pop some nice wheelies :lmao: But man the mount is awesome, gets some really sweet shots. That vid at the end is one I edited for my bro's channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yTIhOQvAvec, the link at the end of the video was wrong, but I just fixed it.
