Official venom factory support thread

Hey guys my name is Eli and I wanted to thank you for putting out a great truck. I was wondering If you were going to be at RCX? I want to talk to one of you about an idea that I had for my creeper that worked better that I expected and you might want to work somthing out and make it an upgrade. Once you see it I know you'll be impressed.
Has Eli's idea been presented to Venom yet? If so maybe someone can let us in on it.

I have made a shaft dig for my creeper, and it worked so so. You have kinda given me a kick in the ass... im gonna throw it back on, and give it another go. Maybe i will have better luck this time? I love to fab up stuff, but im not the best at it.

Sean take a look at mine, it's under my thread. Not as bulky as the others I've seen, very clean looking and does not hang down like the others"thumbsup"

They are the black pins. Paul is sending me a few, I am also trying a couple different things.

I just broke mine today. My kit is only 2 weeks old and this is the 3rd time i had it out got in a tight spot and snap. couldn't i just use a pin for wheels of a xxxt? I broke the sliver one

I snapped 2 pins awhile back (better the pin then the stub axel or drive shaft"thumbsup") and I started using some airplane linkage rod I had lying around.

Any solid rod you can find that is the same size, just snip to size with cutters.

Many thanks to Chris and Paul at Venom... got my parts and am rolling again.

Because of Venom's great customer service I am planning on buying a King Of Shaves gasser boat.

Thanks again guys!

How long did it take to get parts? I talked to Paul friday about vcd's and he said he would get em out tues., rushed because I have a comp next sunday.

I have faith.

Took about 9 days but only because Im north of the border. Great customer service compared to other companies Ive dealt with.

Thanks guys for the support we appreciate it very much. Yes we regret the delay with the Dig Kit and we are working to get this done as quickly as we can. For those of you who happened to be at the MSD Tamiya Scale event in Montana I was there with a preproduction Dig unit testing it in the comp on Sunday so it does exist and it does work. Production at this level can be tricky and time consuming so without going into details I hope you can imagine what it takes. "thumbsup"

Chris

:!:NOTE: do not use a lubricant that has aggressive or harsh chemicals on the plastic transmission gears or the plastic VCD's. Try silicone based lubricants instead. "thumbsup"
