Official venom factory support thread

I cant comment on the delays but we must have hired a guy named Murphy?? I dont know...lol Sit tight its comming. Its been run in comps and it does very well. Its adjustable for servo size and the servo saver can be tightened up for more positive action. Its pretty sweet I think you guys will like it.

I broke another rod end this weekend as well. I'm now running traxxas rod ends on all lower links on the axle end. I'd like for these replacements to come out almost as much as the dig.

I also shredded an axle shaft. My fault since I was testing a Novak Goat 21.5 system and seeing how much she could take. Full throttle to full brake on pavement = Kaboom! After quite a few tries and other stupidity. Wheel speed is fun though...

So is there any chance that there will be a spool coming out for the Creeper? And maybe a HD chassis option would be nice. Mine is bent to hell from some falls. Then aluminum shock bodies... Yeah

Im about to bail on the creeper as there is no dig and you cant comp without it. Is there a dig coming out or is this all just b.s. venom is feeding us. This crawler has been out for to long to not have this available by now. Love the way it handles, just cant comp with taking reverses all the time.

Yep !!!!

Are the kits supposed to be coming with the new one piece skid plate ?
I just got a kit last week from one of the BIG 2 distributors and the kit still has the 2 piece tranny mount in it. Now I am wondering about the axles as well.

Chassis Skid Plate - CPR
Stock : Early Aug

And early Aug to buy something I assumed was going to be in my kit doesn't help.

crawlin around

Seriously when is the dig going to be out, enough B.S. this yr or not do I need to give up on my creeper and go with something that the makers of want more competative or wait for you guys to decide wheather or not
you want to stay in the crawling game????
In case you hadn't noticed poeple are getting ready to bail on your rig and go elsewhere for a more competative one, all you need is the damn dig.
Your ads a yr ago said you had all this great stuff, remote diff lock you have but what about dig, false advetising or what?

Frustrated with B.S.

pretty annoyed

Just emailed Venom customer support and waiting for a reply. But I ordered a skid plate VEN-8348 2 weeks ago, and it says in stock. Its been two week no skid plate. So I check my account, and a Venom account was created (did this while processing order) but the account showed no transaction. Paypal payment went through. So I to give customer support more info I check the skid plate part number again... and what does it say? it says: "Stock: early aug". what???

so 1) there is no record of my purchase according to Venom (but paypal confirms the payment went through)
and 2) now it says the skid plate wont be available till early August.

WOW! :?

p.s. funny how my first post is to rant about VENOM.

email them or call them. I ordered a skid plate and didn't get confirmation. I emailed and they said it would ship by xx date. I had it about 10 days after I ordered it...

I've been playing with r/c cars since the late 70's and I am here to tell ya Venom support is as good as it gets. I told them about my problem, gave them proof of purchase, then I got the part I needed and I'm ready to move on . . . crawl on.

Honestly, before I bought this kit back in January, I knew there would be a strong likelihood that a new machine would have a few bugs to work out but it seems like Venom is well aware of this and has taken every step to fix everything - that's my experience with them and I'm 100% satisfied and I'm very picky when it comes to customer service.

I'm looking forward to getting another Creeper on pay day. Wait, that's today!!! WOO HOO!!! :)

Happy crawlin,

AR
