I have a 2013 Turner Burner (27.5) and I love it. Shortly after buying it, I picked up a Fatboy. I have been finding that I grab the Fatboy more often than the Burner. Just a fun versatile bike to ride. "thumbsup"
The upgrades I have done to for the Fatboy was upped the front rotor to a 203mm and moved the 180 mm rotor to the rear and added a wide Enve handlebar.
At first the Fatboy was my cruiser (just for fun) -commuter (my commute is 98% dirt) -utility (a homebuilt rack to haul trail building materials/tools) but I found I can ride that bike hard and fast, hence the rotor upgrades. Before this weekend, I am putting a Thomson dropper post on it.
I don't give a rat's ass what people think of the bike I ride. I live in a small town in the middle of no-where. I am not part of a clique or popularity contests. I bought the Fatboy because I thought it would fill a void and spare some wear and tear on my Burner. But now I am convinced that there is something to the 27.5+ and Fatbikes. Yes, I can ride longer and further. Yes, it is easier to roll over stuff. Yes, it is easier to ride year round. (one example, this spring started off v-e-r-y dry. Trails were all very loose and dusty. Riding a 'normal' mtb wasn't too much fun when you'd hit the super loose sandy-bug-dust sections. Whereas my Fatboy was no problem.)
Now if I could talk the wife into selling my Burner and Fatboy to buy a Turner King Khan... you probably wouldn't get me off my bike.
