What kind/brand of bike is this?

Just a couple of race pictures from over the weekend.

And a lesson learned. Don't try and be cute using pipe cleaners that match your bikes color scheme because they won't last a full race. Stick to zip ties!

Sweet jump!

Pipe cleaners are good for one thing. Should be easy to guess what that is.

I've been rained out(of races) three times now! I'm going insane:evil:being in race ready shape/mindset with no race to get my fix.

Well my son took a really bad spill. Concussion and 2 layers of about 40 stiches and a broken thumb.
Helmet was split and chunked up.
Good thing is he is already asking for a full face helmet for when he gets back on the bike. Any recommendations on a full face helmet?
Removeable chin bar, yes or no?

Yikes, that definitely looks like a nasty spill. Glad to hear he's already thinking of getting back on the bike. Here's to a speedy recovery for him!

As for the helmet, it really depends on what he wants. If he wants to be in a full face all the time to prevent injury, then don't worry much about the removable chin bar. I have a 661 Comp full face that I wear when doing the local Super D race series and on the rare resort trip. I'm a big fan of the overall fit and feel of the helmet.

I also just got a Bell Super 2 as my primary helmet, but didn't get the removable chin bar with it. I could see that being a good option for folks, but compared to a normal full face I could see where the full face would be more secure. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend either of those helmets, it just really depends on what he feels comfortable in.
