New SSD SCX10 axle housings

Whats a good differential and lockers set up with these axles? I'm gunna run stock ratio up front and underdrive in the rear?

I'm running the FI Spools in mine with the Axial universals.

I just got one of these in to replace my stock housing that had stripped screws. Im pissed that the ring gear is on the opposite side from stock so these cannot be run with stock axial housings. I now have to replace my good stock axial housing with another one of these, wish it was posted in the instructions or a disclaimer.

It's been documented here, but I can see how that would be a bummer if you were only wanting to replace one housing. They should put a disclaimer in the description on RPP and the other shops that sell them so it's clear. I think once you get the other housing and the gears installed you love 'em though.

If you are dead set on only one axle just flip it over and drill some new holes

Couldn't you also just flip the diff in the stock axle and then reverse the drivetrain rotation as you would with a pair of the axles housings?

Diff only fits one way in the stock housing also. You would need to flip the entire housing.

McMaster-Carr Buy 100qty of every size and head type, washers, flatnuts, locknuts. Organize them in tackle box trays with clear lids...you'll be glad you have them during late night wrench sessions.

got the SSD axle and the SSD scale screw for the rims. But felt quite frustrated I have to buy the special tools for the m2 screws which cost a lot and they are quite easily strip out, you need to be very careful with that comparing the stock m2 screws. However, they look really nice
