New SSD SCX10 axle housings

You'll need to modify your upper links to either a true 4 link, or a 3 link with a drag bar set up.
I thought that might be the answer. Do you know the length or someone that sells them. I did a little research and other than Vanquish at $80.00 for the kit, I didn't see much for the 12.3 w/b.

SSD makes nice links too. "thumbsup"

Or you can make your own, homedepot or lowes get some threaded rod, dont recall the size bit the tips are painted red, then hobby shop and get some revo rod ends, measure cut then install, just twist or untwist to lengthen or shorten

Agreed. SSD and VP are both great vendors. I am very happy they both do what they do.8) I will offer my personal opinion at this point though. I have owned and ran currie axles (3 sets to be exact). I honestly feel that they are the prettiest axle I have ever owned. On the flip, I sold all 3 sets because they got hung up allot running a 1.9 tire. If I was running 2.2's (I wouldn't) the curries would be a keeper. I am also not a fan of aluminum axles in general. They don't slide very well over rocks. Due to the above mentioned reason's I feel the SSD 60's are the best housing designed and on the market currently. The smaller tube size and beefier housings are the hot ticket."thumbsup"

I was really surprised how sturdy the SSDs felt once I got them in hand. Great option for the price. ONly think I would change is having caps on the ends of the rear axles for the bearings instead of the lockouts but I understand why they did it the way they did.

I've got a vanquish c hub sitting here will the ssd knuckle fit or work on them ? Still fiddling with my ssd axle under my comanchie. Hoping to get it all done soon

I don't sleep. Finished modding the shafts and got it all together.

What all did u do to fit the scal c hubs on?

Finished my axles. Added a drain plug pained covers red and added scale hardware. SSD you guys should make an aluminum stock diff cover with a drain plug like this for those of us that prefer the look of stock but want more durability on the cover.

I still have bumpers and sliders to make but she's coming along.

I know the gears are flip and the housing is on the the other side to look like the real 1:1.When using this scale looking axles is the drive shaft suppose to rotate in the other direction now..it doesn't matter which way i flip the the tranny the drive shaft still turn the opposite direction
does every body else notice this and is this how every body driving them.

Have you reversed the throttle channel on your transmitter?

No i didn't try that yet,as I'm building and I'm not at that stage yet,but i don't think that would matter if i reverse my throttle .
If i did that then the tire would rotate backwards and the the drive shaft would rotate the RIGHT the right way...
The diff gear are flip the opposite side, not like the Axial diff gears...
It's not a big deal i can still go forward but the drive shaft turns LEFT rather the rotaing RIGHT......should make sense...lol..."thumbsup"
