How did you get the Xr universals to fit? Did you just shorten them?
Nvm I thought you had the new SSD stuff on and not the vanquish wraith stuff.

I had a pic request from one of our fellow builders so I figured if he was inquiring others would be wondering the same. Sorry for the quick/crappy pics but I was asked if the SSD Pro set up would clear a narrow track wheel. The only wheel I had laying around was my mock up factory axial's. You can see the tire bulge with plenty of room yet to gain!

Does anyone know if these would work with the stock SCX10 12.3 wheelbase with the three link front? The panhard mount included with the axles seems to have a 3 link mount but I don't know if this would work with the stock "Y" setup. If you have an answer that would be great!

No you would need to either switch to a standard 3 link panhard setup or a 4 link servo on axle setup with the servo mount that is a separate purchase from the housings.

SSD you have shown the world, Vanquish is dragging behind and Way Over Priced. Thank you for the great work products and prices. I hope someone comes out with a quality scale chassis. rc4wd is the most scale ive seen but are so over priced and brand specific. SSD all your success is well earned and appreciated

Idk about that. SSD has some great stuff but you also see alot of VP on the axles in this thread. "thumbsup"

Hey I'm not going to choose a favorite! I have vanquish curry scx10 axles on my jeep and SSD axles on my jeep truck! Why choose a favorite. I love them both! There is plenty of other stuff out there to bash. Rock on SSD rock on Vanquish

Your ****ing stupid...Vanquish set the bar and everybody else is playing catch up. Have you ever held a set of Curries? For that matter have you seen the new F9 Currie? Nobody comes close! SSD makes excellent products, I've owned a few of the products they make but to say Vanquish is dragging behind and over priced is just stupid. Personally, I don't have a problem paying a little extra for a licensed product that's Made in the USA instead of China. "thumbsup"

Honestly, I'm tired of the fanboys wanting to bash one or the other. They both make nice products, spend your money with whichever you wish but there's no reason to bash the one that has been doing it way longer than the rest.

I have the Honcho version of the SCX10. (12.3" w/b) I think I'm missing something. How do the upper links connect? I have the 2 links the go to one and then bolt to center of the axle.

You'll need to modify your upper links to either a true 4 link, or a 3 link with a drag bar set up.
