New SSD SCX10 axle housings

No, they are just for scale appearance. There is not really enough meat there for thread and the bearing and wheel would get in the way anyway.

Thought that might be the case. Thanks for the info "thumbsup"

So these new knuckles have a slight ackerman? At least less than stock? Or am I mistaken?

Ordered a set of housings last night. Would have liked to went through RPP but they sold out so went TCS.

Looks like we will get a fair amount of caster from this set up!!!! I love that the double sheer lower arm is above the bearing!!!! True highsteer double sheer super scale knuckles.....The combo should be in my hands tomorrow8)

So what's the measurement from bottom to top of the center section of the d60? Trying to get an idea of what size scale the axle could or would be. Are the axle tubes removable? And are they made like a high pinion or low pinion version of the d60?

@ Demonoid

It's not possible to make a high pinion with stock axial r&p, it's a centered pinion design.

That is with the cvd in the pictures? Which one are they? Your own?
Looks like the cross pin size has been bumped up quite a bit! "thumbsup"

The 58 degrees is the maximum steering of the knuckle. I'm pretty sure tires will start to touch links before the knuckles max out anyway.

Just release your entire Arsenal so I can get my build done:mrgreen: received my knuckles, chubs, bearing caps, and steering last evening. Will be posting pics later today. The quality is amazing. Kudo's on these amazing knuckles. Oh my:mrgreen:

Plastic wouldn't be worth the trouble for knuckles and chubs. Too high stress they would break I would think.
