More Axial rumors.... SCX6?

This thing is epic!
Product Height 14.55" (370 mm)
Product Length 33.55" (852 mm)
Product Weight 25 lb (11.3 kg)
Product Width 14.88" (378 mm)

I don't think I'll be buying one though. My 10iii is so satisfying. It works great on most hiking trails. I've been playing with RCs as an adult for about three years now, and typically I've gotten a new vehicle every year. However this year, I don't think I will. I'm just going to keep driving my 10iii JLU.

im stoked ive been building large scale rigs alot laitly so this just means more rigs my size on the trails and more parts for me to build with

i knew it was only a matter of time till they gave the xl size another shot
i still run my yeti xl but hopefully they did a better job on the new xls than they did on the yeti

Looks great! I can't wait to see what the competition comes out to compete with this. 1/6 with locking diffs, 2 or even 3 speed transmission, on board 360 or front facing camera, working winch, etc would make it the XMAXX of the crawl world.

1/6 scale for 1100 bucks is not really expensive..you guys should check out 1/5 scale prices ...you cant get anything decent under 2000$.Not that a crawler as this is needed, but ok...whatever floats your boat.

What the heck this guy shows the true brutal power of this thing.

Yep that link works

That was quite a torture test

After seeing a few videos I'm a bit more interested in this thing. I liked hearing that its a "different" driving experience. I was thinking It'd be similar to a Wraith or Bomber but I was definitely wrong.

Yeah really same here thinking I'm gonna need to list a few things for sale here really soon. Guess I probably don't need 4 yeti xl any more might just have to let my 2speed one go and see if I got anything else I can sell........and keep my kids off youtube. If they see this I'm in trouble or will be lol [emoji38]

That thing is huge! Even compared to the 1/6 New Bright "conversions" Man, how did I know this large scale was going to become a thing. Great base for a MT as well, well if the diffs are up to it. Price seems spot on, compared to most othe rtr trucks being right about $600, right? Excited

This new release is very interesting and actually really cool ... although its break-thru given there are very few large scale crawlers for those who have the room and landscape for them. I am very satisfied with the 10th scale mainly because I can really enjoy them size wise. This is on another level. Good job on Axial to fill-in the gap for those who will enjoy this rig accordingly, a bit on the steep side of pricing but we are on the consumer market at the moment and I can see them selling some of them, but I also foresee this Rigs being offered in the classifieds and marketplaces as lightly used.

Anyone who has been down the Xmaxx/Arrma 8S rabbit hole knows how quickly the cost on the electronics this size ramps up. If they did offer it as a $600 kit, good luck trying to keep it under $1100 to get it running with a sensored brushless system.

You people are enablers.

My interest meter was at 0 on first glance, but with all the input in this thread and some videos it’s at like 5.

I’m curious to see the feedback once people have them in hand and put a few hours into them.

One thing I see being a limiting factor (besides price obviously, which technically isn’t outrageous, just a little harder to stomach on an rtr and all up front) is availability of tire, wheel, and body options. Although horizon does have the opportunity and ability to meet those demands right away.

I’m interested. It’s not any more $ than my x maxx. I would have been fine with a brushed setup though. Not sure what the equivalent would be at this scale for brushed though.

Looking forward to seeing how the aftermarket plays out with wheels, tires, bumpers, etc. I also wonder if Traxxas will follow suit with a large scale crawler.

I'm interested, but wife said no... I'll figure it out

I'm hoping Proline was in the loop for tires and body options, that would be nice if stuff was ready to go for the aftermarket.
