I don't think SORCCA has class rules for 1/6th or 1/24th scale, & a few people are getting the SCX6, so I was wondering how wide to set gates for a 1/6th scale comp ?
Also we run 1/24th scale comps inside when the weather is to cold for 1/10th scale comps outside, How wide should we be setting gates for 1/24th scale comps ?

Since each class has different gate widths, I think you first need to determine what class the SCX6s would be running under. Then, based on the standard 1:10 scale width of the 'decided' class, multiply times 10, then divide by 6. As for the 1:24, following the "class determination process" mentioned above, multiply times 10, then divide by 24. Simple, right?

Since there is no class for 1.6 trucks, Most rules would be somewhat of a cross over for them. I have a few 1/6 trucks, With Roc Hobby Willys and FMS Jimny there are more 1/6 rigs out there, But no wear near the numbers of 1/24s and 1/12s and 1/18s

As for gates, ROC FMS as well as custom Hasbro Willy's run up to 12 inchs for axles and tires, Just think of Wraith axles on 2.2 So add inch on each side and u have 14 inch gate, For 1.24 1/4 inch to each side of truck as starting point,
