House’s TiDe Fighter

I get all of my scale accessories from dluxfab.com! :lmao:
My 4PX is pretty tough, but it seems to be affected by dust more than water!

Anodized screws don’t strip that easily. Plus do you really need that much torque? I just set the clutch to one or two on my electric screwdriver and call it a day

1. Your rebuild is truly mechanical art. Nice work and thank you for posting and sharing with RCC.

2. How do you like the 4PX? Is it worth the money? We own three working 4PK's, one 4PK with a worn out trigger, and roughly 60 receivers for them. The 4PK's are beginning to show there age and hundreds of hours of use.

Worlds better than the 4PK. Lighter, faster and more comfortable.

Thanks Eddie!
Yeah, I like the 4PX. I think it may be discontinued already though???
Looks like you have to go down to a 4PV or up to a 7PX now already?
This one is a much better price point than the 7PX...

I was planning on trying the radiused rear lower links, but peer pressure
and my old car setup made me swap them out before it got on the rocks.
:ror:

Thank you Chris for your phone call & continued business. I'm glad the extension performed to your liking. Apparently there may be a need for these, Nabil saw your post and texted me asking for some as well. :ror:

This is true. A 5x5x5 cell block would be perfect I think. Having the larger surface area should help balancing the front heavy trucks aswell

Mine were never worthless, I just had to use other means to make them more useful on my comp rigs.
An empty servo box on top, or a small rectangular Tupperware type bowl under it, etc. has worked for
the past couple of years, I just knew there was something better to be had... They are useful for a lot
of different things, not just R/C car stands.

More junk weather so more prep work.
Core assembly first...

Me too.
Hoping this will create better adhesion to the G10.

That’s exactly what I do. Brown roloc disk and all. Maybe not as extreme, but I also scuff the inside edge of the carbon

It always sticks better the 2nd-10th time around.

I clean the surfaces with the edge of a reinforced skinny wheel on the dremel. Takes the glue & rubber right off, be sure to do it outside of with a fan on, the CA fumes are ruthless.
