Holmes Hobbies CM Mini v2 soldering pad question

I emailed HH a few days ago and did not get a response. I just found there contact form and received a reply.

There was mention of sensored being a thing down the road, but I don't know if that is on future models or if the current ones can be retrofitted? Maybe put a glob of grease over them and conformal over it. This should make it easy to cut out that spot if needed.
