GT3B Hack kit- Pre-order

If you ordered through my site you should get a shipment notification here soon with your tracking #, if you order via paypal i'll get the track #'s uploaded if paypal will let me.

Ok, so i got them all shipped, just about killed the poor gal at the po  :ror: And i got all the dc #'s entered so if you haven't got a shipment notification lmk...

Ok.. looks good...

I can do that part its all the damn button clicks to program stuff I am worried about :D

Thanks LK... I 'm looking forward to messing with this. I'm hoping it's not to complicated to use once it's setup with 6 channels, but now I can move on with some of my projects requiring more than 3-4 channels.

thanks for your commitment to the radio revolution lol "thumbsup"

Ok so heres the deal, i have 2 kits left thats ready to ship, have parts for 5 more. I'm about 15 hours behind in wAs adapters, and about another 5-10 hours of other projects i've been putting off. So if you need one now i have two ready to ship, otherwise i won't get to the other 5 till mid to late next week. Then will have to start up another small pre-order. I had some emergency repairs todo to my truck so i can't afford to do another batch of 25 right now.

Thanks for all the orders so far

Got off work early and saw my Firmware kit in the mail a day early "thumbsup"
the cable looks nice and though easily done with old PC parts its much nicer than i would have bothered for my own use. the cable sheathing is a nice touch as well.
Im sure ill be ordering some other goodies from you in the future
Tracking says the GT3B will get here tomorrow. if I am lucky ill have time to play around with everything before i leave for the weekend

sweet I didnt know there was an 8ch version. I was going to ask if it could be updated to use the extra channels on the turnigy RX. are there enough buttons to make use of all 8 or is it mostly for mixes?

I didn't post it first page either, just the manual...now it wouldn't be hard to find the firmware from there, buts it makes life simpler to simple right click and save.

Yes the turnigy v2 8ch rx works with the gt3b...and yes there is enough buttons, you have 3 trims, a d/r, a ch 3 button, and you can also program the rotary knob and other buttons to control channels i believe.

Also some people may have problems getting the programmer to see the radio, what i have had luck with is plug the programmer into the radio, then plug the programmer intto the cpu, then boot up the software, open up the firmware, and hit program.

Um, if you can't get it to work, you can snap the board into two, i haven't tried this yet, but others have had luck doing this.

Hey guys, i have a board i snapped in two, it works, but for now i'm not going to sell them like this, so i'll give a $5 discount to the person who wants this kit. Just send me a pm

Ok so good news, i found away to prevent another big pre-order. But after these next two, there may be a small wait as the pp funds will be running close to zero for the next few weeks.

Whew, tried to program this thing tonight, guess Im worse with computers than I thought. Cant wait for those instructions on how to program (dummy proof I hope). I couldnt even find a clear pic of which way the 4 pin harness hooks to the transmitter and st8 board. The pic on the rctech instructions has 6 different color wires for a 4 wire pigtail, and none of them go to the same place? Oh well, Ill just wait for the rest of the instructions, thanks for offering this by the way! The physical install was easy and straight forward, now for the programming part. I am not even sure I got the install program downloaded properly to my computer. I uninstalled it and will try again once the instructions are written."thumbsup"
