GT3B Hack kit- Pre-order

Man, I gotta tell you this is customer service like no other. Where else will you get live help at midnight? Thanks for you help losikid, you'll be getting more of my business in the future.

So, miracles behold. I downloaded the patch, followed the directions in the last link for programming with the board snapped in two, and it has reprogrammed. And even more impressive is that it linked up to the reciever of my SCX just like factory. So, I'd say job well done.

The functional Expo helps tremondously with low speed control and precision.

Sixteen model memory! This may be the last radio I ever need. Who am I kidding, I need a spare one at least. I think hobbypartz.com has some more in stock already...

"thumbsup"

I just looked and they are back in stock, wow that was quick...i'm going to be ordering a few here soon and sell pre-programmed ones...once i get firmware kits stocked up. I'm also going to order in a bunch of 8ch rx's since they are rare to find in the states.

One last question, I hope.

What firmware to I want for 150% endpoint and a wider range for servo trim? I'm not sure exactly which one I made work. I have 120% endpoint and a 50 scale of trim, but it seems that the trim points are just close together giving it the same overall narrow sweep.

Maybe my Hitec servo is dying, but it also seems that the trim "floats" around on the steering. Meanign it doesn't always return the exact center. Also, it'll steer all the way right, but when I go all the way left the servo turns full lock and then slowly goes back a few degrees even though I'm holding the transmitter at full lock.

I agree completely, losikid's service has been top notch. Great vendor! I will definitely buy from him again and send others his way when I can. Thanks for all your help."thumbsup"

Just set your end point adjustments (epa's), right?
Is that What you mean? correct me if I'm wrong, but that should be it for a shafty dig setup"thumbsup"

No... I need 3 end points.

This is what I need. It is for a shaft driven crawler with a servo that disconnects the rear dig. I need to control that servo to 3 pos.

1. 4wd Drive - servo left
2. Freewheel dig- servo center
3. Rear lock dig - servo right.

and I need to be able to leave it in the Drive pos.

first go to servo reverse and enter-long go to d or C which ever one you want to use to control it and enter set to CH3-enter-NOL%-enter-100%V-enter-NORv or REVv-NOOv-enter by doing this your channel 3 will stay in the position you leave it at and you hit the switch to change to the other positions instead of being a momentary switch. if you have any ?'s about it ill try to answer them

Thanks for the reply. Found it at rctech to. What is "c"?
I was confused on the terms used like for ch3 trim = just "3". (thats what I used.)

From psx,
- select menu REV
- press ENTER-long
- select ch3 trim (id 3) or d/r trim (id d)
- press ENTER
- select CH3 (channel 3)
- press ENTER
- select NOL (no long keys)
- press ENTER
- select 100 (for values -100, 0, 100) or 200 (for values -100, 100 - value 0 must be done with CH3 button when I add this function)
- press ENTER
- select NOR (or REV if You want to reverse buttons)
- press ENTER
- select NOO (no opposite_reset, it doesn't matter for steps >= 100)
- press BACK

When You selected step 100, then You can use selected trim buttons to step from left-center-right and back. For step 200 You will have only left-right, centre from CH3 button is not currently possible.<!-- google_ad_section_end --> <!-- / message -->

Ok I just looked back though the manual, and its not in there, is there anywhere that spells out what the keys that you can assign are? (C b E 1< 1> 2< 2> 3< 3> d< d>)

I will take a guess

C=?
b=back
e=end
1=quick steering trim for channel 1 button.
2=quick thr trim for channel 2 button.
3=quick trim channel 3 button.
D=quick D/r rate button.

C is ch 3 button

the <> are if you was to want to use those individual buttons, not as a 3 pos switch.
