Hi all,
I have a very important Q that has nothing to do with RCs, but what GoPro is better, the Hero 3 Silver Edition or the Hero 3+ White Edition. I would be using it on an off-road lawn mower. For me, the main points I care about are:

Filming 1080p Full HD
Being able to film in slowmo in good pixels
Wifi Capability
Size (Small)
And most important, Having REALLY good image stabilisation
(You need this for a off-road mower)

I haven't researched these much but thought I'd find out what everyone thinks.
I know the 3+ is smaller and that they both do 1080 but I most worry about image stabilisation as I've already fallen for a bad camera once, a Kodak ZX5, it had no image stabilisation and is now almost had it.

Anyways, please tell me your thought because info would be really be appreciated.
Thanks,
Trillo

3+ Black Edition. Worth the money.

Yeah, I know, but if you don't have the money then you can't buy it and no, I don't want to save

The white is 5 mp. The silver is 10mp and the black is best at 12 mp.
Silver is better than the white.

You are talking about the White 3+ and the Silver 3 eh, not the two 3s or the two 3+s.

Thanks,
Trillo

Hey, thanks.
How did you find the image stabilisation in very rough bits.
Cheers

I never used it with my crawler but had it mounted to my helmet on my street bike, it worked great never had any complaints. I would buy another one in a heartbeat but my lack of editing skills made it hard to make a good video

Do have a nice one of almost hitting a car and running a red light though haha

So it was fine?

Wow, just had a really awkward moment.
Searched GoPro's website, found that there is no such thing as a 3+ in White.
3+ is only made in Silver and Black. So, it looks like it'll be a 3 Silver.

Sooooo, this isn't a GoPro vs. GoPro thread anymore, it's a "Are you happy with your GoPro Hero 3 Silver Edition" thread!
I know MCW24 is happy, but what about the rest of you

Just FYI, GoPro cameras don't have any onboard image stabilization. Just figured I'd mention that, so you didn't buy one and come out disappointed. I have had the original GoPro, and currently own a Hero 2, and a Hero 3+ black edition. Fantastic little cameras for what they are designed to do.

Whoops!
Awkward Moment no. 2

I thought they had it because all the videos GoPros do are so stable. Apparently it's because it has such a wide angle lens and it makes it look a lot smoother.

I found this real good reading about GoPros here: GoPro capability

Thanks hpiguy for filling me in
