Godfather Scale Challenge - 2012 January-June Series

Sounds like a good time. I'm out though, I have to work most Saturday's. Have fun all. See you on the next one.

Alright looks like Moose and I will be partners for this one. Now just have to see who breaks first.

Here are the teams so far for tomorrows team event.

Scott & Moose
Thomas E & Mike
Chris & DJ
Thomas C & Ryan
Brandon & Dino
Amanda & Brandon's Son
Nick & His Friend *possibly*

If anyone else is planning on coming just let us know and we will get you paired up. FYI this is part of the Series so make sure your cars pass tech. We wont be adding up scale points but you will need to be 6.5 lbs or more if your running 1.9.

Hey where is this park located at? Is it off highway 52?

If you are heading to Horseshoe Bend from emmett, you turn right before you get to the dam on Plaza Road. The park is right past the bridge on the left.

Good GTG had tons of fun. Nice running teaming with you Moose.

Want to get some rigs together to start joining you guys again. I made it out to one comp at table rock and one at Bogus with my stock night crawler in novice. Have a comp crawler dig tranny and some lunsford lower links coming for it that I got a good deal on.

Finances are pretty tight at the moment. Need to sell off some of the race fleet. REALLY want to get a Honcho and try the whole scaler thing. Sounds like a ton of fun! If you know somebody that is wanting to get out of one, let me know.

Want an XR10 with MOA also, but a scaler takes priority at this point because the Losi works for 2.2 for now.

Zno, your winch controllers work of a keychain type remote? I'm all Spektrum currently so I've only got 3 channels to work with.

The Bonus Day Team Event went very well over the last weekend we will definitely have to do that again. Congratulations to Moose and Scott for having an awesome day. Your rigs definitely seem to be in the list to beat for the future.

With all the other events for the series finished we are getting ready for the last event of the Series now. Here are some of the details we have so far.

2012 Spring Series Finale
GSC Comp #6

When: June 30th or July 1st
Where: Tripod Meadow
(near Smiths Ferry)
N 44° 18' 5.2641", W 116° 7' 14.2999"

This will be a Camping Event so we plan on setting up the courses on Friday night or Saturday morning. If you are able to only come out for 1 of the days you will be able to run all the events except the night event which we will be running Saturday night only.

Here is the schedule of how the events will be set up.
(We hope the majority of you can make it out for running the event at the time we have set it for)

150 Gate Long Course- We will be set up and we will start running at Noon. If you are able to make it Saturday try to be there by noon so we can run the Long Course at this time as a group like normal. (If you cant make it until later in the afternoon or Sunday Morning the course will still be set up and you will be able to run it when you make it out)

100 Gate Night Course- We will start running this event at 9:30pm Saturday Night. The area wont be completely dark at this point but by around 10:00pm it should be mostly dark. We highly recommend lights on your rigs for this event and you will need a personal light (head lamps highly recommended)

50 Gate Wild Card Event- This course will be setup from Saturday morning until Sunday at 1pm. This Course will be very challenging to run and find the course since the course gates will be farther apart so you will have to keep your eyes open and run it similar to how our team event was like a scavenger course there will also be 5 items on the course that you will need to pick up and bring back to the finish gate before we stop the time.

Tough Truck Challenge - This could be a rock course, hill climb, or sled pull depending on what we decide when we get there. This event we will have set up on Saturday morning as well and will be able for people to run until Sunday at 1 pm.

We hope everyone will be able to make it to this Spring Series Closer with it being more of an open event that you can run at your leisure throughout the weekend and if you can come camp with us that would be a lot of fun. If anyone has any questions give us a call or shoot us a PM. Here are the coordinates for where we will be located in case you didn't see them earlier in the thread: N 44° 18' 5.2641", W 116° 7' 14.2999"

See you guys soon!!

^^^^ This sounds so SWEET! "thumbsup""thumbsup""thumbsup"

I usally work Saturday's, however, I'm going to try to get off so I can come up and camp out. I have a bunch of new parts going in my Wraith, so get ready for some competition...

Is there space for a 20' camp trailer?

We have baby #2 due on June 19th, (could be anytime now) so I might be working around a new baby. However, I'm thinking I can come up with my 3 year old boy and he can play around with his wraith and give mama some alone time with the little one.

Thanks for putting together such a kick a$$ event. "thumbsup" Really looking forward to the night run.
